Nice wire want to hear how you like those horns as well! -
Have any been in contact with them? Why do you hate it? They're built to order, I would say it's damn near impossible for them to do that and not have a wait time.

So much powa'! amp rack looks great

Looks great! Have a friend with the same civic with 2 12s on about 7k. His last score before he rebuilt was 151.7 sealed on the dash. This looks like it can do better haha

Not Ready to Give up on FI yet. what would you do?
emh9009 replied to Marcus Colvin's topic in Fi Technical
This exactly! If you're on facebook look up Electron Beam Technologies. They sell nice welding cable. If you don't want to pay shipping just go to a local shop and pick some up. Why don't you just order a recone for your sub you already have? -
Another happy client for SSA! Great to hear.

Love that you're working on this. I've never liked amplifier crossovers, so this is going to be SWEET!

Working on a new box design. Using Torres for the most part. Looking for anyone who has a bit more experience with box building for high excursion subs to chime in and give any tweaks or suggestions. I'm wanting to try sub/port up for this box to make sure I have enough port/volume. Measurement I have are depth: 18", width: 39.5", and height 19". I want to tune at 35 hz. Torres is giving me 4.07 cubic foot at ~34.8hz with 82.5in^2 of port area. This is with a second baffle, .75" wood thickness, no bracing (calculated for), port being 5"x16.5, and port length of 35" (physical length of 28.5"). This SOUNDS good to me, is there anywhere I could improve? These are pretty much my max. dimensions. I may be able to get an inch or two more height if needed. Sub's info: http://store.ficaraudio.com/team15/ Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance for anyone who checks these specs out!

It's time to start a build log on here for my 2010 VW GTI. I sold my CR-X last August and bought this a couple days later.

Build looks great! What didn't you like about the intellicharger? -
Curious if there are any updates on the V3 protos?

If you look inside the cooling vents you should be able to see the options on the sub written with a black sharpie. As for a box, just run a regular ported box. What kind of gains would he be looking for with using a Tline?

Took a little video of the exhaust note today. All stock other than the resonator delete.

I'll look forward to how you're planning to get all those amps in there! Thank you!

I dig it!

I was at the one in Centralia on sunday, where were YOU!? work Making olympia or the tune at soundwerks before lowdown? Thank you!
-
Finishing up on old "updates" I've got 2 runs of 1/0 welding OFC cable in the car covered with Tech Flex. Dual inputs from explicit audio, and stock alt/battery/no big 3. All installed
-
Damn, that exhaust sounds clean. Love the box bracing you have going on.
-
Thank you! I've been checking your build out as well, and have seen nothing but great things come from it! I do, yes. Finally transferring everything over How do you like the tune? Thank you! I've had this almost a year, and I'm super happy with this car. This box doesn't have enough port area and I want different sub/port orientation (possibly) I think there can be some great improvements on a proper design.

New box is def. in the works. I just need some time over at my parent's to get it done.I don't have any videos. A friend may have some footage from a show last sunday. If he makes a video with it I'll post it up!

God DAMN I love that dust cap!

Got some cheap material from JoAnne fabrics and wrapped this bitch up! I bought some 6 gauge welding wire for a low power build I did, and had a ton left over, so why not use that for speaker wire? If course it's too large for the terminals, so I had to trim some. More than I expected.
