When does the box get " TO BIG"? Is there a program for port velocity? With "power" do you mean the gain knob?
-
Me nethier this is what I got out of winisd. All ported boxes are 4 ft^3 Light blue tuned @ 12hz, Green tuned @ 18hz, Red tuned @ 26hz, and for giggles Dark blue is sealed @ 2 ft^3. Me personaly I liked the line @ 18 hz. The sealed box started droping off at 44hz. I noticed that the larger the ported box the more it peaked at the tuning freq (to a certain point). Also do I need alot of port area tuned low, it seemed the more port area I had the longer the port needed to be, but with a smaller diam port it didnt need to be so long But I had a small amount of port area. M5 am i on the right track am i missing somthing??

box designing literature/software ????

OK thanks.. How would I model that into my plate amp? I will check if my receiver has the capability to perform this function.

I need a ratchet shifter, a little more stall, and a shift light. I think i can get it ind the 11' s im still playing with the timing/nitrous and launch rpm... That and work on your reaction time, should do very well once you get it all dialed in. Good shit nonetheless, pretty quick for a car that big. Are you removing the system before hitting the strip? Interior gutted? Currently there are not any subs in the trunk.. full interior.. yeah i was looking into getting a trans brake... reaction time sucks, still trying to get to know the car on the tree..

It hooks real good. so im going to try to hit it harder off the line... Thanks guys i was suprised too!!!!

Builder handled the motor once we pulled it. Problem with the cam, ate a couple of lifters. I think it was a bad grind, but can't say I never saw it before or after. Grasshopper figured since it needed a new cam he would put in a roller cam. Zinc in the motor oil today is partly to blame, (the lack of it) Also when starting a motor with a flat tappet for the first time it should be run around 2000 2500 rpm for the first 30 minutes with Break-In Oil Additive. but with a roller cam no such problems

you will never find..... A bitch like mine...

2500.00 Sad to say she died jumped the fence and got hit by a car.. -
your girlfriend ???? Jk But seriously yes had it on the road, but when I finally got the timing, and carb adjusted rite it started slipping. Put the 350 turbo (with stock stall 2004r had 2600 stall) in it and now 2nd gear slips so i only have 1st & 3rd gear still feels decent though. Need to get my transmission woes figured out now.

TY working on it bit by bit. Now i need a trans that will hold up... leaning heavily on putting a 5, or 6 speed behind it... Standard ?? Why not find you a 700r4 ?? or maybe and old school turbo 400 ?? 700r4 doesn't have the bop bolt pattern. 400 doesn't have overdrive.. shifting gears is fun anyways
