for now i'm using the 200r4 trans I had already built it. and wouldn't have to modify the drive shaft. used the extra block and trans to test fit much.

went to salvage yard picked up a heavy duty 4l80e transmission. sent computer off for vats removal. 6500 rpm and tables to control transmission (had a 4l60e) . also did wiring harness

new power plant. 5.3 lm7 Got every thing for 200 bucks had bad crank though. so had to get another block.

think about this, a diesel does not have a throttle plate. you run them lean every time you let off the accelerator. same air less fuel. it doesn't hurt them.

try revving the motor after you start it up to say 3,000 3,500 rpm before driving it.

Well, thats the only place I could put the front speakers because of the wall design, and T.V. placement. All the speakers have swivel tweeters so I kinda "line array" them in my direction. Also the yamaha has a mic to set up time alignment, level. (Me too)

Even though they where $46 a pair,They were brand new. Since I was at it I moved everything to the closet, and cleaned up the wiring. sounds a lot better!

For the price I can't really complain. They get loud clearly, better than the old speakers.

I have Dayton Audio spa 500 plate amp for power, and the sub I will be using is a sa-12 I have lying around. This will be used in my home theater. My questions are, what is the typical tunning freq with home audio. (I will also listen to some music occasionally) I have also noticed that in home theater that the boxes are larger than typically used in a car audio setup. This will be my first ht project and I was wondering if some one could point me in the right direction. ( box designing literature/software) Thanks in advance.

what i have now.

For the price of two pair of the daytons. I can get two pair of pinnacles 500ft in wall wire, and buy some sheets for my iB setup i think the pinnacles will be a step up above the speakers I have now (baby steps lol)
