So, supposedly the Chevy Tahoe has an option for a 160amp alternator, from the factory. The highest I have seen, so far, if 140amp. I've seen one, modified by a company that does Emergency vehicles, that does 350amp ($769.99). This has got me to thinking. I've heard the AD244 alternator will direct drop-in to my van which has a CS-130D. The AD244 is supposedly much better than the CS-130D.
