Only way to really know is to try it, but to get you close here is the break down. 1200 watts will need about 110 to 130 amps depending on how eff. the amp is, and the car will generally need 75% of its alternator capacity. So its a safe bet that your going to be short on the current flowageaitation (flow-age-a-ma-ta-tion)

12'' Icons dual 1's I bought them about 3months ago from Lucky 76, I have never put power to them (accept to test to make sure they work) they are still under the 1 year warranty, and he only used them for about 1 month before he decided to go with 4 Xcon's

i was thinkin about asking 250 for it and it would come with a cb-II ipod adapter and for the subs was thinking 325 for the pair buyer pays shipping, but this wont be untill I get a new one to replace it. As for the ICONS they can go whenever I just haven't put them up yet.

I thought the same thing until I read about it and saw it uses WAY better components and can so full 4 way active right on the deck. Mine is only 3way and off the shelf 5% caps, diodes, etc....

I calculated that box at 29.2 cubes just had to guess bc I don't know about wood thickness, bracing and sub disp. but if you make that port 3 ft wide 6in tall and 6.12 in long will give you a box tuned at 33 htz someone plz check my results

I know I may be committing a mortal sin but....I have a pair of ICONS in my possession and I know that if I put in my car I will smoke them (because I have no self control) I looked on the FI site and the recone section has no pics and all of those model numbers mean nothing to me. Could I get these subs built to handle 1600 a peice / has anyone else done anything like this with other brands?

I agree with M5, a new EQ will help you adjust, but over all will make your system more complicated. I would just get a new head unit, one like the Pioneer Premier DEX-P99RS that deck gives you way more options than any eq or if you dont want to spend 1300$ on a deck you could get the older 880 PRS. They have 32 band equalizer, phase adjustment for each speaker independently. 24 bit bur brown DCA's, 5 volt pre outs. They are pretty sweet.

I was pokein around the net and I read that sundown, IA, RD and Stetsom all use the EXACT same boards built by a build house out of china named ZENON. This company is supposed to make High end boards for these companies. So my question is...I have a few grand cash for my next amp why should I go with sundown when RD and IA are less if they are the same?

Told ya . Here is an example on Jacobs awesomeness, This is my story, not something I heard. I had a pair of 100.2 running dual mono to my mids. 1 went blooey, dont know why. these amps were 2 years old BTW, when this happened. So, I sent it in, Jacob sends me a brand new 125.2. I thought " awesome". Bummer was, I had a unmatched pair of amps running my mids. For 20 bucks shipping Jacob replaces my other 100.2 so I could have a pair of 125.2. WHO ELSE WOULD DO THAT?!?!?!? NOBODY. /nuthugg off lol nuff said, he dint have to do that for ya but he did and he probably made a repeat customer out of ya...I hope I wont have any problems but if I do. I feel better about this purchase now, Thx guys

The owner of RD is a complete fucktard. No other way to say it, sorry to cuss, but he deserves that. Scamming, lying, cheating etc etc etc. There are many threads about rd audio esp on ca.com, just look in the thunderdome, there is even a sticky one lol Ok I just read 10 pages out of 59!!! 59 pages of RD slammin...wow ok well that settles that then.
