pole vent should be NO CLOSER to any pannel, than the port vent is wide.so if the pole vent is 1.5 it has to be at least 1.5 from any pannel, at least thats the way i understand it. i guess the air inside your box is somehow favoring one port, trying to divide the pressure inside the box to show each port equal pressure (a small mdf piece place thoughtfully somewhere?) might solve your problem?

still waiting for the 8s'

you want a bigger amp not a new sub, and remember twice the power only equals a small increase in volume! and try makeing your sealed box smaller throw some 2x4s in there or some polyfill to kill the 'hollowness' try the ss sub, sq is sweet, and you can always sell your subs and get your money back to try another one? have you tried your buddies rf in your car? sometimes its the car, do you have a trunk? trunks are hollow / boomy sounding, goot a go i.b. if you got a trunk.

Single Cabinet and Dual RL-p 15's for Home Theater
60ndown replied to mfishmike's topic in SoundSplinter
I've studied the isobarik designs, and plan on staying with what I'm familiar with for the moment. I just might want to try something different later though. Send me a private email with photos of what you have and how you've configured yours as the plans from Decaware have different configurations. [email protected] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> mine is just an unfinished mdf box, for 2x15s, both magnets in the centre chamber, two older jbl subwofers. the thing makes way more bass and way better sq than it has a right to, an im useing an old jvc solid state amp (50wpc?) via a paradigm x20 x over.god knows what it could do with 2 x rl-p 15s and 2400 wrms -

i got my new components in the car this a.m. its good when the latest upgrade works im with you on that, id like to watch 'little nicky' on your h.t.rig..or anything for that matter i still encorage you to build a 'housewrecker' one day when you have a few hours to kill.steve deckert who desighned it is a very very clever man, the housewrecker is a very very serious sub, desighned to fill very large spaces with very serious bass. it doesnt sound like you 'need' one but i would love to hear your thoughts on the differences between the two? www.decware.com -
SEALED with all that power is gonna be sweet, you dont need to port them.most people port to gain some output, but at the expense of sq. with 2400 wrms you dont have that problem

nope, just imagination

yerwelcome, so you added magnets to the sub while testing it for ts, instead of placeing it in an enclosure? why? i wonder if image dynaimcs will now start useing your drivers?
-

bass bost only colours the sound in a negative way you should be able to achive excellent low end extensin with tons f weight and presence without any bost, especially with your new drivers. -
