Great transaction! Agreed on a price, I PP'd the money, and he shipped immediately. Wish it was that way with every seller.

Hi guys, let me start by saying this is my first venture into home subwoofers. I have a very old('97) Orion 2NT 15". It has been sitting in a cabinet in the garage so long I forgot it was in there until recently. I want to try it out in the theater room just to see what it would sound like. The spec sheet recommends 2.7 cu.ft. for a ported box. Should I build the same size box for home use? I have a 500watt plate amp that I will be using.
-
Oh and I would use a ported box but I ordered it with the High QTS option thinking that it was going into my truck. So I was limited on space for the original plans I had for it.
-
Will I be doing a great injustice to my Q10 by only have 600 on it? It will be in a .6 sealed box. Amp is an Arc XDI600. I was trying to sell the sub but cant seem to get it sold, and am tired of it sitting around. So I finally decided screw the weight gain and am going to put it in my T/A. Thoughts?

Thanks guys. No I am not too concerned with output. Just want it to sound good. Besides if I have to open my closet one more time and see that sad unused Q looking back at me I think I might cry.

Nice work -
Am I the only one that thinks she may have been safer in prison? Away from a public that had convicted her before the trial even started. The sad thing is she will probably profit from all this monetarily with being paid for interviews, book deals, etc...

Good advice bigjon. Most I have ever run was 2 7" at once and was fine with the splitters so I never ran into the situation to need a signal booster.
-
What he said. Just run the yellow of the a/v cable from the video out on your deck then split it as many times as you need for the number of screens you are running. You dont need the red and white cables going to each screen. Unless like bigjon said you want audio coming from each screen.

Nice. Very very nice.
