You talking about Aaron? He's a bad motha......Watch yo mouth. I respect Mark and Aaron for the fact they dont go around suggesting SSA subs to anyone and everyone just to make a buck. That is what truly puts me off on other forums. Members with agendas playing fan boy. They run a great forum and really allow the members to do as they please as long as it stays intelligent and for the most part mature. -
Waste of money. turn the sub level up when you want to show off then turn it down when you dont. I wish I had your money to buy different subs instead of using a volume knob.

LOL, ^ this.

The frame is plastic with rubber flaps. You are a serious badass if you can weld plastic and rubber. lol
-
I did mine. I covered the flaps with some left over ensolite I had from my doors. Anything will work tho. Worth doing to stop that fart sound coming from the rear vents.

I am glad you dont drive around here.

BL not reaching potential?

Since you have a trunk car, set the gain where you like it and step back 5-6 feet from the trunk and listen to your subs, if they sound good give it a little more gain and repeat. Just play around with it man, it's not rocket science. Your ears will tell you when something is not right. You wont like the results of setting gains with a scope either. I will be it will be less loud than your original settings. -
Damn Bro! Nice fucking work right there. I missed the start of this one, but I am tuned in. Carry on........

Don't give me any ideas! Looks completely nutz. Great work. Waiting for more. Thanks John! Hopefully it wont be raining tonight and I can wrap it. Going Friday to have the rear lifted some more. Got 1.5" in the rear now and will be going with 3" in anticipation of it sagging even more from the weight. I hope this will sit me level or even get me a little bit of rake. If I get some rake I will crank on the torsion bars a little bit and raise the front a little more too. -
Seems the team LP guys got it going on.

Sir-Lancelot replied to SentraGuy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
The level is sub volume. I always set gains with it on the highest setting. Some songs you want to be bass heavy and some you turn it down and chill. The sub level is not boosting a certain frequency like a bass boost or loudness feature does it is a volume controll to aid in blending your subs to the rest of your system. That's why I say max it out when setting gains. -
Gots to keep the Ladies happy. Wish my wife would let me put a small system in her car. To the wife - talking on the cell more important that the beats. ; )

Zero. Stop using a DMM, trust your ears. Turn the level all the way up and slowly turn up the gain. When you see the woofer is stressed, back off the gain.
