Do you have any idea how loud super tweeters are? If I understand you correctly you will have 4 tweeters from the comps and 4 ST? Sorry man, but there is no way that could ever sound good. Maybe 4 mids and 1 set of ST to start. Not throwing rocks, but i would seriously reconsider that plan.

    Cant decide on comps

If you liked the R's why not use them again? Maybe look into Image Dynamics HERE If you get the CXS you would have money left for sound deadening and some MLV and that would wake up the midbass in a good way on those. I personally really like the ID comps. Good midbass and a smooth tweeter.

trouble w/ not having a variable subsonic filter

I dont see the problem. Were you going to tune really high? If you tune to 33 or so, just switch it on.
  14. With a little modification and the dash bezel from a 03 & up you can fit a double din in there pretty easily. Or go with a single din and it will still look good.

Where do you buy your equipment?

Internet stores like SSA and have bought some used stuff. I buy a ton of stuff from Amazon.com! I freaking love Amazon. Edit to add.........I would buy local, but they sell crap!

    speaker pins or banana plugs?

Keep the 12ga and trim a little off each until they fit.
  21. I would check the grounds. You should have plenty of electrical to back that amp up.

    ZCON Prototype

I like this idea. Something like your sig or avatar would look sick!

    speaker pins or banana plugs?

I would think it would be better to just stick he wire in there. My reasoning is the pin, since the pin is hard it would only make contact on the terminal on a very small portion. I would think you would have more actual contact between the wire and terminal as the wire would compress as the terminal releases.
