Distro block and wire size problem

Use 4ga to the 50.4. It's not worth your time to trim 0ga to fit, IMO. -

Any way to make Rock/Metal sound good with a subwoofer?
Sir-Lancelot replied to bartwo's topic in General Audio
Do a little searching about it. I can guarantee the install shop did nothing special. It's too expensive and time consuming and people will not pay for it. If you want a good install you either need deep pockets or lots of time to do it yourself. One thing deep pockets cant buy tho is the satisfaction of knowing it's done right because you did it. Even when you write that big check know they did cut corners because it's not their car. -

Um, yea... Do you want kick drums or do you want more sub bass or do you even know? Both, which is why I just said I should upgrade my 6.5's. Some albums I have are produced so that the kick drum is low enough for the sub to produce the audio for it quite well. Case in point, Chevelle's "Wonder What's Next" Cool. I agree and Chevelle rocks. Look for the biggest driver you can fit in your front doors even if you have to trim and go to town deanening and sealing. You have to seal off the front of the driver from the rear. Midbass is hard to achieve in a car because the car itaelf is designed to cover quiet those frequencies. You have to work harder and outsmart your car. Also important to deaden the door. Buzz is not bass. If you get your mid bass better (read lower/louder), it allows you to lower your sub crossover and then you will find what you want and may find your sub is pretty damn good as it is. -

^ uh, hum! -
you can buy one for $20-$25. No need to go crazy, but in this hobby you will need one. It's priceless.

Do you have a multi-meter? I dont think voltage should be dropping too bad. Something is up like FFJ said above. Could be a couple of things, pics would help.

Just looked at your pics. Do you still have the yellow top? I saw some pics under hood too, but now I cant see them.
