Whats going in it?

Shit man, that looks loud! Hurry up with the vids.

All of this ^ will make a you a happy Danometal. Post pics of your build.

You could put a 12 ICON sealed with that volume. Feed it with a nice 1000.1 and it will be nice set up for you. If you could manage to squeeze out a little more volume, you could port it and get a little more output. 2 10" ICONS sealed on a 2000.1 would be sweet too. Really just depends on your space and how much you have to work with. What are your maximum demissions? Budget?

I like Maxxsonics amps. Lot of bang for the buck. The MB Quart DSC2000.1 were being sold for $280/90 or so shipped a few months ago. Looks like prices have gone up, but check around. Sundown would be another good choice. You have LOTS of options in your budget.

Now that is fucking funny. And to the poster who suggested hiring help. If a business can run with only run employee then thats the business I want to own. People are the single biggest expense of a business. Hire someone.. raise prices...lose business...let someone go.

CACO and SMD have a lot of reviews on them. Cool, I will go and check them out. Thank you.

Sundown 100.4 and 125.2 power question
Sir-Lancelot replied to Mahna Mahna's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Thanks. Any opinion on ARC KS vs Sundown? Looking in terms of overall quality and cross-over flexibiity. Keep the Sundown they are paid for no? You will not be able to hear a difference between the two. You have processing in your HU. I would use that. -
Sundown 100.4 and 125.2 power question
Sir-Lancelot replied to Mahna Mahna's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Did you read the post or are you just trolling? They are 4 ohm mids. He wants to run 2 of them bridged off 2 channels of his 100.4. No one said there was anything wrong with 8ohm drivers, but if you care to enlighten me how this would be a good thing go ahead. -
Sundown 100.4 and 125.2 power question
Sir-Lancelot replied to Mahna Mahna's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
The midrange produces more of the music you hear than any other driver. In order to achieve a decent sound stage I say it does matter and quite a bit. Plus the 100.4 is only stable to 4ohm bridged so you would have to wire to 8 ohm on the mids. Bad idea, imo. Run the 125.2 bridged to your sub and all 4ch stereo on the 100.4. Just back the gains down for the tweeters. -
Sundown 100.4 and 125.2 power question
Sir-Lancelot replied to Mahna Mahna's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You can run it bridged mono and stereo at the same time, but no that set up does not make any sense. You will be sending your mids a mono signal. Are you running active or passive? -
Looks damn good. Excellent work scribing your panels to fit.

I saw he was on a roll. Didnt see his 4Sale, but makes sense now.

Cool sight to view your ride lifted/lowered with MANY different wheel/
Sir-Lancelot posted a topic in Automotive and Performance
I have seen a few of these, but this one is really nice. Sorry if already posted. Custom Tires, Custom Wheels, Tires and Wheels Packages, Parts and Accessories for your Car, Light Truck, and SUV from Performance Plus Tire Scroll down to the right and click on virtual wheels. Allows you to view your car/truck with many different wheel tire combinations. It even allows you to lift and lower it. It's the best one I have found and no I do not have any affiliation with them. If you have seen it, ignore If not enjoy. -
I agree Bromo, but I can see where SSA does not want me going around saying loud music wont hurt your ears. Thats not what I meant, but I see Duran's point and edited my post. Fact is when the music is clean and clear you can turn it up pretty damn loud and not even realize how loud it is. Sometimes I think it's pretty normal level even with the subs off and I cant hear my wife in the seat next to me. What I was trying to say is that when you have clipping and a dirty signal you WANT to turn it down because of exactly what you described, listening fatigue.
-
Enlighten me. All or partly? I am not above learning a thing or two. Clipping does not determine if it hurts your hearing or not, volume does. Anything else you disagree with? I feel you on that one, but thought I took care of it when I replied to Dr Q. I can modify my post if you want because it is misleading. I dont want people thinking high DB levels wont hurt their hearing either. The word painfull can be misleading. I did not mean hurting your ears, but rather sounding like shit.
