Which One?!?!?!
Sir-Lancelot replied to SaxMan's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Then why limit to 2 choices? Pick the amp that is in your budget and has the features you need. -
i would NEVER advise someone like this a BTL...seriously no offense......thats my thoughts Your one to laugh. Do you read your own posts? What do you suggest genius?

i would NEVER advise someone like this a BTL...seriously no offense......thats my thoughts Why is that? Would it be better to throw 2000w to something else? OP wanted to buy another amp for his 1000w sub, a BTL makes more sense for that power, no?

Okay, you lost me. You asked if 2 Q's would "hit harder" then 1 bl. Maybe you should see if you have space first. The Q and the bl need the same air space, no?

What gauge wire and what fuse?
Sir-Lancelot replied to Dpaw37's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
If it wasnt worth it, people would not be suggesting you do the big 3 first. It's cheap, easy, and worth it. -
Do you even have room for 2 12's? If you are giving up your backseat, throw an 18" BTL in there.
-
You would need to practically double the power to hear louder and I would not advise you to do that.

3.6 after displacement and 33hz would be fine.

Good luck.

Seriously? 3 posts up from yours you will find THIS !

im looking for a good 2000+ amp, any ideas?
Sir-Lancelot replied to notloudenuff's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
With your budget I would get the AudioPipe. You should be fine with your electrical, just keep an eye on it. -
^ agree with this. Except I think he meant LPF at 60-80 not the SSF. Set your SSF a few clicks below your box tuning. Give us the box and port dimensions. Edit to add I was agreeing with Brandon. You guys type too fast. lol

need a quality amplifier
Sir-Lancelot replied to Life Of Infamy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
That would be the one. Good price, but I know nothing about the seller. MB Quart DSC 1000.1 or MB Quart DSC 1500.1D would be some others on the cheap. -

Look at the audiopipe. They make rated power at 2 ohm I believe and are not expensive. -
Why would you even care if your going to mix with coke? Ice or water will make a man out of you. Might as well drink seagrams the way you guys are trying to do it.

^ this, does look loud. Bet it moves some air with that small cabin. I had a 280zx back in the day. Straight 6 was bullet proof.
