Not another noob wanting to run 30k watts like that guy on you tube I hope.

Good to know, I am going to order a couple on Friday. One question for you Sir and sorry to crap OP's thread with a question of my own, but it could be relevant if he goes this route also. Why does Kinetik reccommend 2 of the same batteries? Ex 2 HC2400 vs. 1 HC2000 & 1 HC3800? Would it matter?

Looks nice chop. Keep digging, you will find some extra db's.

Damn sorry for you bro. At least a recone wont set you back too much. Have you reconed a sub before?

Liquid Deadener On Plastic door panels?
Sir-Lancelot replied to wutang512's topic in Sound Deadening
Contact Don at SDS or Rick at Raamaudio. Don seems to be the overwhelming favorite around here and it seems to be for good reason tho i have no personal experience with him I would use him myself if i was in the market. -
Cool pics man. Looks like fun! That first one looks like someone is about to get wet.

Liquid Deadener On Plastic door panels?
Sir-Lancelot replied to wutang512's topic in Sound Deadening
Deadener is NOT the way to fix rattles. Foam is. First you need to find what is rattling. Liquid damper is rather stupid in general, scientific tests will prove that all day long. ok so ill get some of that ccf and then glue it to my plastic door panel and i should be straight. Yes and that is what I said in the beginning. No? -
Exclusive MTX Factory Tour | SSA Style!
Sir-Lancelot replied to Mark LaFountain's topic in General Audio
Actually, they build all of their amps in house! I didn't know that either, was very very refreshing to see a USA built amplifier. Good stuff. Very solid Amps, I personally like the 4kd they have. I didnt know that. That is good news for ther USA. -
Liquid Deadener On Plastic door panels?
Sir-Lancelot replied to wutang512's topic in Sound Deadening
all you want to do it add a layer between the door and panel. If it cant hit the door it has nothing to vibrate against. It is not used in place of deadener on metal, but as a layer between that and the trim. It comes 36" x 36" so a quantity of 2 would be pleanty for 2 doors. I have also used Dynamat Dynaliner on my roof, it is MUCH thicker. Be carefull going to thick on the doors, mine were tight as hell to get back on between the deadener and the ensolite. -
Liquid Deadener On Plastic door panels?

Meh, I put some Cascade spray on mine. I dont think it really did anything. Some of the raamaudio Ensolite is a more effective way to stop the buzz between the door and the panel. It's cheap and it goes a long way. -
the SSA dcon's like small boxes.

Glad you got that box in there.

Get a damn tape measurer and do it yourself.

Ernie's 2 12" Demo Car Build | New PICS p4
Sir-Lancelot replied to Mark LaFountain's topic in Team SSA
Thats the way it should be. Unless someone complains, didn't hear it. -
It took you long enough. lol Curious about how you got the alt up and running.
-
Some good numbers for some small budget powering on them. Would like to hear some of these one day. Can I drive Tim's car?
-
@ GlassWolf Where in SC are you? I am in Florence.
-
Biggest problem I see is it does not subtract driver displacement, so your actual tuning will be higher than what the RE program says.

From ported to sealed
Sir-Lancelot replied to Notorious97200's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
Looks like 2.9 or 2.7 after sub displacement. Should be good, that about what my 15's were sealed in . yeah bump the SSF up a little bit. I had mine where Aaron suggested around 25. They are maybe not as loud, but they still get very loud. I will say I felt more bass sealed in my set up. Very tight and hard punch to them. Keep us updated as you have time to play around with them. -
That is going to be one heavy box~! Looking good mang

That was also an option I was thinking of. I will try the new ground tomorrow and see how things fair, before I run a new ground front to back. PS: Thanks for replying to my PM.
-
Not necessarily, but it should be. Some cars dont have metal frames that run the length of the car and some others are pieces welded together.
-
Better yet, run a ground cable from the front battery to the rear battery.
