Bromo, what program is that, Got a link? -
Nice vid bro. Your choice of tunes was excellent. Peaceful ride through the desert. Nothing like that around here in SC. I used to tear shit up in the woods tho when I rode bikes. Your video makes me want to go buy one again.

L brackets would do it. Attach to the box then the trunk floor.

what is the correct way to set crossover on amp & hu?
Sir-Lancelot replied to harveywong's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
use one or the other imo. Both should have a pass through or full range setting. Mine are full range on the HU and set on the amps. There are thousands of posts advising against bass boost on here. -
SQ woofers getting loud? That cant be, say it aint so. Loving the new icons.

You could pick up a few more db more if you ported that Q.

Not sure if you mean the same thing, but its under tools > options > security and then theres an option that says use a master password. What I use and works quite well. DownloadHelper is pretty useful. Forecastfox to see the weather in the tab. TinEye Reverse Image Search is cool too. And if you are using Yahoo mail and like to know ASAP when you get an important email - Yahoo! Mail Notifier. TinEye is really cool. Personas allows you to customize the look a little bit more. Bass Blockers
Sir-Lancelot replied to ShaiTan's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
And why in the hell would anyone want no bass below 600hz on their 6.5" mids? Edit Ahh, reading comprehension > better then me. Non amped. Yeah then maybe, but it would sound like a big tweeter. -
Bass Blockers

Amps and most HU's have HP filters so not needed. -
Pretty much anything you see on here in the ssa shop is going to be nice. You need to give some specific goals for your system or all you will get is a bunch of fan boy shit. Look around some, it's your system. Have some specific goals. Everyone on here has their own favorites, you may not like their choice for your install. Narrow it down yourself and ask opinions on a few not all, it will make it easier to get good advice.

Welcome If you buy it or build it you must post pics or it didn't happen.

Enclosure Build for Mark @ SSA!! (Installed, P.7)
Sir-Lancelot replied to Argent Audio's topic in Argent Audio
That is sexy! Bracing looks badass! What you tuning this one to Mark? -
I I had to drill down into the tools options use custom setting for history. Then select to remember passwords. I guess it was just because i had it selected to never remember history. I get the pop up now and life is back to normal. lol

Down load Malware Bytes. I had to load it to disk on another PC and install it that way. Start up your computer and hit F8 before you see the windows logo and enter safe mode. Run Malware bytes in safe mode then restart.
-
Okay, I just changed some of the settings and it popped up at the top to remember. So that's that. Any add on you guys suggest? So far I have only added AdBlock Plus. Thanks!
-
Um, Well for some reason it's not doing that for me or I would not have asked smart ass. lol I check remember me and nothing pops up. When I exit and open it back up it does not remember anything. I have remember passwords checked in options too. I do have it set to never remember browsing history upon exit, but I had IE set up that way too and it remembered my passwords.

Dude, the amp did exactly what you told it to do. It does not have eyes and ears like you so it has no clue what is going on. Only you can be the judge if your settings are right. Hifinics didnt blow your sub, you did. Let it go and chalk it up to a learning experience and next time be more careful. -
is that 3.5 cf after port and sub displacement or before?

XCON worth extra $100 in my case?
Sir-Lancelot replied to Tony Nelson's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
LOL, we are not making this easy! Hell either damn one of them would be bad ass. It's your money OP I think you would be happy either way! -

Sir-Lancelot replied to Tony Nelson's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
You can cook a woofer with any amount of power if its clipping. Not if the clipped signal is within the power rating, both thermally and mechanically. ^ Truth! Which is one reason I am going to vote Xcon for the OP. A little wiggle room is a good thing. Port a 12 around 30hz and be happy. -

Sir-Lancelot replied to Tony Nelson's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
xcon vs icon on 1000w i doubt you would hear a difference, but if the upgrade bug hit and you wanted more power you would be covered with the xcons. What is your ultimate goal with the subs? Sq? Loud and clear? -

Both are nice and they like about the same box. Tough call. Just depends if you have extra money to spend. I think you would be happy either way!
