how much $ for a box un assembled?
Sir-Lancelot replied to jcardin's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
IF all your doing is cutting a 36 x 18 board for example, How does that get screwed up on a panel saw? I have had them cut slightly off (.125 too short or long, but honestly nothing too bad I could not fix with sanding or some MDF and glue. It is easier to make cuts on a panel saw then a table saw, I just don't get it. Yall must have some tards at your local lowes. Oh, and the biggest reason I have them make cuts is I have nothing to haul a 49" x 96" sheet of MDF home in. lol If I have to cut something myself, I clamp a board or straight edge to the piece I am cutting as a guide for my skill saw. Easy. -

1/8th of an inch either way wont do shit. Just need good straight cuts so your boards fit tight. They have a panel saw, so that helps even the seriously inept. I have seen the sign that says .25 after the first 2 cuts, but have never been charged. -

Lowes and Home Depot will make the cuts for free, so $35 or the cost of a sheet of MDF. -
Looks damn good man.

Brightest color in kelvin

If you dont like them you can change the bulbs. 5-6k is about perfect. 5k bright white with a slight hint of blue on the 6k. 30K IDK, I bought some 12k and they were purple, lasted exactly one night before I ordered the 5k replacement bulbs. A ricer 4x4 Yukon was a BIG fail. lol -
I visit all of the briefly from time to time not really my style and I dont post much on them. I do find their opinions pretty damn funny, but different strokes for different folks. I prefer the grown up forum with 30 year old SQ guys. lol

Well looks like me and the kids have a busy day, first we are going to swing over to Aaron's and feed the ducks, then race over to Alton's for a dip in the pool. lol My wife asked me what I want for Father's Day and I told her I want to hang with the kiddos until 2 then I want her to get them all out of my face so I can watch the Gamecocks at the college world series with some friends.

first off i would not put 2 15" ones in, the whole point of going for a 15" btl over 2 12" bls is it would save me about $200. the website says i have 481 liters cargo capacity, its a pretty big trunk. i would like to know if its worth getting the btl 15 in comparison to my 2 type r 10s 481L of cargo capacity means shit! If you built a 481L box would you be able to fit it into the trunk? Prolly not. Get a tape and do some homework. Measure your trunk. If you cant do that then there is no help we can give you. To answer your question, yes 1 15" BL would be "better" then your 10's if you have the space to give them a proper enclosure.

Bigger Amp???
Sir-Lancelot replied to j-roadtatts's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Damn bro that sucks. It sound like it was just seeing too much power. I am not 100%, but if the grill was hitting the driver and stopping it's stroke, that could have played into it. That VC had to move somewhere and if not up and down then side to side was the next choice. I hope the manufacturer can work something out for you. -
Thats great! So I can get new subs and a fake Rolex too!
