Got the box built today for the 2 BTL 18s, went over to a friends house it is 12 cubes @34hz with 150sq in port, Hifonics XX Goliath @ .7 ohms It Beats:D ... hard ran into a problem, one of the wires came undone and i couldnt figure out what happened, we didnt think anything was wrong at first, it was still crazy loud,but got everything fixed now box weighs a ton, top baffle is 3 layers thick, and the sub is flush mounted in some pics during the box build and some bad night shots the tools and speakers along for the ride Final Turnout: Since i fixed it, i havnt even went on it yet, only to about avg listening volume, got a good bit to go tomorrow :up2somet: neighbors suck

what year explorer it would be tuff to cram 4 18s in there, that would be over 36" deep+box and mounting stuff, so about 37-38" my 04' pnly has about 34" unless you sit the box all the way to the door on the hump, whihc wouldnt look right and window might not even close i suck at describing, but cliff notes of it is that i dont think it would fit... follow my setup, 2 18" BTLs is crazy

Well i want a Fi shirt so im going to come finish this up After having them in a few days, they make me even happier I had MTs before these, used them for a while, loved them, when Scott came on with some pics and info about the BTL line i immediately wanted a pair, couldnt afford them though, few months later finally get a vehicle big enough for 2 18s and i bought them, and here i am now Good: (start from the top) 1 Customer Service is top notch, site is easy to use, straight foward 2 Any time you need a question answered, Scott, Nick or Shawn will get there as soon as they can 3 Shipping was great on them, arrived here nicely in its packaging 4 When i got to listen to the 1 18 before i got the 2nd one, i was blown away, box was a 6cube @37hz box i had for an MT18 a while back, sub did great, still had good lows and the 40-50hz range was deadly 5 got both of them in the other day, 12 cubes net, tuning at 34hz with 150sq in port, so the box is on the smaller side, for daily driving it is almost perfect sounding to me, plays low notes crazy, and sound very nice for what they are SPL subs, better than the MTs to me 6 These subs do good on rap music, havnt really tried them on any rock 7 power is coming from a Hifonics XX-Goliath at .7ohms, so in a perfect world they are getting 2500rms apiece, even when i ran the 1 on the Goliath it didnt even phase it Bad: 1 not too much i can think of i dont like, but it took a little bit for scott to make it, dont remember how long, it wasnt terrible but i didnt have any bass and i dont like waiting, ive gotten the express shipping some times on things if its not too much more, but thats more me, i love the way they custom make them so i think its worth it for the wait 2 WEIGHT!!! i think i broke my back trying to put the box in... 2 60lb subs + super heavy box= not good for bama thats about it on the bad, neither one is too major, 2nd one dosent even count

kinda things happens to me too, except my amp cuts off an restarts and i hear a pop noise because the amp dosent have a pop elimantor, but i have 1/0 ran to the back splitting into a pa a3000db with 4ga and a pa ov2 400 with 8ga, and up front i have an everstart maxx and i had an excessive amperage alt but had to send it back, so i should get it back today sometime but but it stops and makes a loud pop sound and kicks back in but i do not know the prob of it

im pretty sure it the amp turning off and back on because it dosent have a pop eliminator, but just don t know what would make it do it the amp was bought at start of JUne and Sub was fresh reconed at end of may so they are barely 2 months old

well once again my XXX isnt happy, it made its little popping noise again. well i was driving home listening to it on 18/40 and thought i heard it stop for a sec and start backwell song pauses in bass lines any way but it quit and kicked back on i think so i lowered it down to abou 11/40, 5 mins later it poped again , it isnt really loud now like it was a few weeks back when it popped, but i assumed it was a voltage problem then, but it wasnt even up loud now i was using a zen micro mp3 player and a fm transmitter because my adapter for rca is setting in front seat waiting for me to put it in, so it isnt as loud as it can be, now here are some things that could be wrong... first time it did it a few weeks back i had took out the HU to get to the speaker wires, so HU is an option 2nd is amp, 3rd is sub and 4th is wiring/fuses/electrical and such, well it wasnt even really that loud so i dont know if voltage was an issue, but amp is a pa a3000db, sub is XXX15 and wiring is 1/0 hu is 860 so does anyone know what the prob might be and 2 weeks ago i took out the XXX and measure each coil both were reading 2.5/2.6 dont know if this is right or not any help for me anyone?
