Somebody's being really optimistic. Those sound like some "ILS" numbers to me -

the 9887 still has the dip switch on the chassis that needs to be switched to 3way mode . Once you decide to go active , start on page 15 of the manual and read that whole section . Then your going to need to pull the head unit and flip the switch from f/r sub to 3 way. IT's all explained in that section in the manual . IT is very very similar to the older bass engine pro setup , just a couple little differences. Edit - page 42 in the manual covers the crossover switch on the chassis of the head unit I was referring too

*rant* I AM SICK AND FREAKING TIRED OF SELF PROCLAIMED "PROFESSIONALS" BAD MOUTHING PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEY DON'T pucking KNOW HOW TO USE THEM PROPERLY. THEY CAKE FILLER ON LIKE THEY WERE FREAKING BUILDING A DAMN ADOBE HOUSE WITH IT. THEN BITCH ABOUT IT TAKING FOR EVER TO SAND IT SMOOTH. YOU CAN USE (BLEEP) DAMN CONCRETE AS A FREAKING BODY FILLER AND HAVE IT COME OUT PERFECTLY SMOOTH WITH LITTLE SANDING IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING AND pucking DO IT PROPERLY . DON'T BLAME THE PRODUCT, BLAME YOUR STUPID ASS FOR NOT KNOWING HOW TO USE IT PROPERLY. * end of rant *

Built several death boxes , and a few wicked ones. Wasn't all that impressed with the death box , but the wicked one is a mean bastage Would that work in a home theater environment? I don't have any idea on how low that will go. The Wicked one was designed for home theater using a pair of 10's . If you could some how figure out how to isolate the top from the rest of it , it would make an awesome coffee table sub. Low end was tremendous with just a pair of pos power acoustic 8's. I would love to hear one with a good pair of 15's. It would probably make your butt hole pucker

I used one of their amp designs, sure Awesome little amp... Ramos had a Wicked One for a while. Absolutely amazing what that box sounded like for the drivers he used... Best damn pair of $1 subs I have ever heard

I think your lieing to us . Your first attempt at glassing is better than some "pro's" work

The 15 or so people he sent scattering from under that shelter with a pair of 12's was pretty cool

During my basshead days, when I was making switchable ports. I would use a large bead of this as a gasket . http://www.stickwithpl.com/products/detail...?PLProductID=21 It is very strong , has good adhesion to wood, and remains permanently flexible. I would lay a side by side bead completely around the opening, then let it fully cure, Presto instant durable gasket of any size every time.
