did you get a pic of the neon beside dave's car lol <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think I did. I was to busy waiting on the rear half of the car to rattle off completely

D@mn it , I forgot to download THE pics from my camera. I got a pic of the magic wall in the primered neon. But I don't think I actually got a pic of it. I felt like I spent a day on the set of the billy version of fast and the furious.

Okily dokily, in the middle of building my kicks. Was thinking of ways to deaden them. Got to thinking about the idea behind using mat's and such. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't the idea behind them to add enough mass so that the offending resonations are either stopped. or moved out of the audible range. With this in mind, I got to thinking of best ways to add mass and came up with an idea. I have a rather large stash of lead shot ( used to reload shells for my dad ) . Any thoughts on coating the inside of the kicks with an epoxy lead shot mix ? Seems like it would work. Any input would greatly be appreciated.

Need a cheap h/u for a boat
ramos posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Aight, I'm in need of a cheaper ( sub $200 perferably ) head unit. I need this for my little river yacht. I need something with excellent radio reception being the primary focus. I can deal with no frills or anything else. I only have ( still working on them actually ) a pair of 6 1/2 co axials in the boat. I don't need any kind of processing or any of that. Just need to get decent reception in the middle of BFE Any ideas what manufacturer has the best reception ? -

Read that a while back. Price of the shot doesn't matter too me. I have a 50 lb bag of number 8 shot in the garage from my days of loading shot gun shells. Clay was my original choice, until I got to thinking about the lead. I'm gonna play around a little when I get home and test some things

Ding ding ding we have a winner. That's the main reason for me. Fishing, and listening to a football game at the same time. Makes me drool just thinking about it -

Not really, there's a dip in the floor on both sides. The drivers side is because I removed the dead peddle. The passengers side ????? Maybe it's for sentimental reasons he!! if I know. Working in the farging cold sucks. -
As long as they stay in his avatar. Your 4mm of dangling fury should be safe.

First couple of layers, I hardly ever lay one at a time unless I'm using biaxial or something. The extreme light areas are just excess mat that ended up being cut off. It doesn't look it, but the reliefs are about a 1/4" thick. I'm a little farther along now. I'll let you see what I have so far Saturday -
Just keep your 4mm of dangling fury to yourself and we will be aight.

No problem my brother, I can get "free" scraps that are either 36" or 48" wide ( can't remember right off hand ). Usually a yard or two long. -
