Trying to line up the shift linkage, water tube, and the drive shaft all at the same time. In an area that's only like 5 inches wide sucks doo doo

Yes sir, it tis pretty easy with mine as well. Two bolts, and undo the shift linkage. Then pull the lower unit off. Mine is major pita putting it back together though.

Yeah for some. The motor I have currently is to small and old though. It's a 1956 evinrude fast twin 15hp. It will push my little john boat about 19-20mph with two people and gear.
