Also there is just the new river to go to for musky fishing really . There are other fisheries in the area with them , but now where near the numbers like the new river. I just don't go musky fishing very much is the reason I tend to just use the heaviest rods ( flipping sticks ) I have.

You guys get northerns and muskies that grow twice the size of ours down here though

    first meca comp. question

see I new someone new the spl fusing rules. Last time I competed in mecca they didn't have the wierd arse fusing rules in place

    Welcome to the IHoP

Ever tried fighting a 30 pound four foot long musky , or a 50 lb flat head on light tackle ? You would be begging for a rod that size shortly afterwards I don't think I'd beg to give the Musky that much leverage, 12' is the long. The thickness would be fine as my musky sticks are as robust as pool cues, but the length would be killer. True , I use 7 foot flipping sticks musky fishing most of the time . But I see all kinds of people fishing and catching them with surf casting rods all the time, alot of times from the bank

Not for the smallies , but a heavy or steel leader is a good idea for the toothy critters that are rather abundant in the new river

Yeah baby , early to mid spring while the smallies are feeding up , then after they spawn topwater is my favorite bait. I have seen 1lb smallies come completely out of the water after 6" zara spooks. Damn bait is almost as big as them, but htey still smack it .

exactly Only I will add, an anal retentive competition that drives people to do some of the wierdest crap to a car.

    first meca comp. question

Not sure how the rules work , lilmaniac or one of the other guys should know. I'll see if I can decipher the crap on mecca's website a little better for you here in a few minutes. But there will be a bunch of us here at the Show in the Noke this weekend. Look for the teamssa stickers and you will find us

    Welcome to the IHoP

I wish I could but Im going to be broke for a month or two. I am using the 6k I saved as a down payment on a car. No rush , but when you get the fundage and the itch to upgrade keep them in mind, it is well worth it. The 3 way set in Daves camry is phenomenal. * looks for plane tickets If you are ever in the area let me know. I'll get a hold of Dave. It's a must listen for sure. Gonna have to start working on something for myself after I get Dave fully squared away. The trunk is not finished by any means. It's only a temp safe setup to get him to be able to compete this weekend. I got plans for later and warmer weather

    Welcome to the IHoP

J you should go ahead and get the l3's and at least the l6's to go with the l1's . Damn they sound good
  16. The entire system is up and running. Dave can pass a safety inspection now. Not pretty, but we gonna get the rest of the interior in this weekend..............Gonna be a good show

    Welcome to the IHoP

I'm confizziled. For anything above 3.2% you have to go to an actual liquor store to get 6% beer and hard liquor, you can only buy 3.2% donkey piss in grocery stores/gas stations. Is that what you were askign? Damn, ya'll system is fudgeed. We can buy 6%, wine and below at grocery stores/gas stations, and anything above has to go to ABC kind of store. everything up to and including Everclear in our grocery stores Did I ever tell you AZ sucks ? At least us billies have the shine

Couple coats of sanding sealer very first thing will also save an arse load of paint . Primer goes on top of it like glass
  20. Sorry to hear that , no biggie SSA will be repping anyway
  21. 300 sq ft in Dave's ride all together, just finished with 4 layers on the rear deck this weekend. Put the trunk back together just need to tidy up the wiring and attach the distro blocks. Finished the front stage completely for the time being. Gotta do something about the head unit fit, put the sub back in, and get the interior back in this weekend. This weekend was long, but next weekend will be longer It won't be pristine this go round due to all the freaking cold weather, and having to rush to get things done now. But it will be presentable.
  22. Got the rest of the camry deadened and the front stage ready to go. Gonna throw the interior in this weekend and clean up some wiring. Mr. Dave will be ready to go toe to toe. First impressions ...................... Better bring your A game

Gonna get my competetive juices flowing tonight . First race of the 1/8th season is tonight . Friday night thunder...................probably gonna get my arse handed to me though. They changed the track configuration and I will have exactly zero practice time before my first heat race. But I damn sure won't go down without a fight
