Given the finely tuned ears of the "audiophiles" ( after all some of the audiophools claim to hear difference in cables that are 2" difference in lengths, and running different directions ) There should be no guessing. The difference between the two should be like turning a light switch off and on.

Or should I say guessed it right

but in all seriousness. How many people do you think doing a blind ab test could discern the $50k from $100 cd player ? I would bet out of 100 people tested, those who picked it right could be counted on one hand
-
I still want to petition to have the word audiophile changed to audiophool. People spending 50k on a couple grand worth of materials
-
I would rather stare at the $80,000 piled up on the table though
-
And Jim says I'm the crazy one for spending $700 on an rc car.

I'm having trouble seeing that being worth $52,000 Add on the their normal dac for an extra $13,000 . Or go balls to the wall with the dac with a tube output stage for an extra $28,000. WTF ?

19.89" long so maybe it's a big butt hair

To bad it was usless. I put the box in the truck and tried both the Mag and the Sonic. Both lacked output and authority in all regions of the "bass" range. From 20Hz to 60Hz I was not impressed at all. Really pisses me off b/c I spent some much time on it. It had more authority in the upper range which makes me wonder if I screwed up with the tuning. So long story quick this build fails as well. Really pissing me off b/c this is the second build I've had fall totally on its face. Jon How long is your port ? For a 30hz tuning in your enclosure, I end up with just a butt hair under 20" long at 4" x 5".

Guess you know my answer

I watched the loudest vehicle I have ever layed my hands on, and also the best sounding vehicle I have ever had the pleasure of helping with being built in the same garage / driveway , by the same people, at the same time. The two sides of the sport can and do co-exist peacefully. The key to harmony is knowing that both systems are complete polar opposites of each other. But in the end, both were created to do the same thing. Make people listen and say "...........damn"

Tapered sleeve, and helped out by the different expansion rates of the usually aluminum piston and chrome coated brass cylinder sleeve

Here is a goof picture of a crank

It's everywhere , there are all kinds of forums and websites for manufacturers. You want to see pictures or what ? Pics and info. A lot of good info in this forum . Several of the biggest engine modifiers in the world post on it. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_269/tt.htm They are basically a 2 stroke loop scavenging design. Compression is normally around 8.5 to 1. Properly geared turning usually 30-40k rpm. They use a replaceable cylinder sleeve design . I can take pics of the internals real quick if you want That would be awesome! Damn batteries died on my pos camera . I will get you some pics of the crank when they charge some
