Thanks for all the support guys . I'm doing better, slowly starting to get back into the swing of things -
Damn, something is actually cheaper here in hillbillyville ?? MDF is $20 a sheet here at lowes. Fargin home depot doesn't even carry it locally.

Welcome to the dark side my brother. Much, much easier to pull a trigger twenty times, than to pre drill, counter sink, yada yada

Damn, Lowes has BB right now for $32 in 3/4. Oak was $31, and my two sheets of oversized MDF were a total of $21.97 today. I bought this AWESOME Freud finishing blade for the saw. This thing slices through 3/4" MDF like it's styrofoam and leaves the prettiest edge. I've never seen a better edge or used a nicer blade. 40T titanium tipped carbide with some very nice cooling fins and it's only 1/16" thick. To top that off, it was only $20. Went to Harbor freight to buy some brads, and they had a combination nailer/stapler on sale for $20. Picked that up cuz my Bostitch can only handle 1-5/8" brads max, while this cheapo can go up to 2", and as luck would have it, the ram in my Bostitch broke on me, so I had to use the new one. It never works like that. Irony. . . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did the one from harbor freight come in the blow molded plastic case ? If it's the same one I got from them. It's actually not to bad. I have had one for about 6 years now, and it's still going strong. I picked up another at a clearance sale they had here recently for $10 . Couldn't pass that up

And to give me some time to go through everything in the garage. Never quite realized how much of a pack rat dad was

Not so much a vacation, more just getting her out of the house she and dad spent the last 40 years of their life together in.

Thanks for the support guys, and gals . I'm still around, just a lot to handle over the past couple of weeks. Mom's not taking things too well. After 60 years of being married to someone, and watching them die. I have to be strong for her if nothing else. -
