What did you not like with the Zcons ? Personally I don't really like the multiple small subs setups. I like single or dual subs setups. I find them cleaner. But it's your car and your install ! I respect that ! congrats for the high scores !

Did you sell your other subs ? You must have some nice equipments laying around, with all those changes ! Congratulations. Great buildS. I wish I could fit 2 15" subs in my hatch area !!!
You're new to this forum. When M5 and/or Impious give you an advice about speakers, you'd better listen to them !!! It's what I do. Return those CDT if you can. Quickly !

The finish on the box is wonderful ! Nice work. Your install is soooo clean. With matching amps, it would be nicer, but ...don't mind. You ca be pride of your system. Hope you like how it sounds.

I used the stock wiring too, in my car. It was too difficult, and too long to re wire everything, just for a single component set. the passive filter is in the door, well secured. I'm satisfied with it like that !
You want to save space ? Take a look at the SoundDigital sd250.2 IIRC. Super small. With an Alpine pdx 1000 or 1200(the new one). even the Audiopipe amps are small and cheap !
You need some window tint, OP ! Maybe you can recone the sub to sell it. You will find lot of buyers for a good JL sub like the w6. With the money, get an Icon or an Xcon from SSA.
You're on the cheap ? Take a look at Audiopipe, Clarion, MD Quart,... they all have some 1500 w amps available. Hifonics, why not ? The HiFi series ? Look at the BRZ, brutus line before. They are much better amps.
Still waiting desperately ! Hope it won't be as hard/long to get the alt once ordered ! The money is waiting for you, and the VW owner did not start to look elsewhere for an alternator. But he is worried. Hopefully he knows it's not my fault. TAKE CARE OF ME PLEEEEAAAASE !
Maybe your problem is coming from your box ? Too small ? I did not understand : you have 2 subs, or 2 firing up AND 2 firing forward. I hope you don't run them in the second config ! All subs should fire in the same direction. Work on the box, and on box placement. Changing amps won't do no good for you. It will just be a waste of money. Good luck.
