New tint on the car : 15% black fr windows, and 5% black for the rear windows and windshield. nothing on fr windshield. I love it !!!

100% agree That is why my next sub will be an SSA one : hopefully a Zcon 15" with a new car ! Wait, we are not running that promotion. If we did: "New Car with every Zcon 15" we would be broke after one sale. I would have been this first and only customer !!! Whatever car would be offered !!!!! -

I thought they were tuned at 30 Hz.

No more music in my car. Bass is ok, but mids & highs stopped playing after chabging rear shocks

Get the 1700 for your sub, and a second amp for your doors speakers. You don't need such a high end head unit, but why not, it's not too expensive ! Welcome, and spend some times reading here before you pull the trigger on anything ! Take your time. Take a look at the SSA drivers too.

Did 139.3 on the TL( sealed, at the windshield). It was 135.smthing witht he old box. I need to play with some settings to reach 140 (a new underhood AGM batery is on its way for me ).

Settings for a Pioneer HU EQ and sub Gains

Sub output can be set to max (+6) on a lot of Pioneer h u. If not you will have to push the gain up up up on the amp. No need to use DMM or DD1. But it can be fun to see what difference between your ears and those equipments ! -
Which head unit

Use the DVD one. 2 or 4 volts ? It's not important. The only change should be in gain settings on your amplifiers. -

My box builder puts wood glue mixed with wood dust in the inner part of the kerf. No problem so far, without any nice 45 like you added !

You could also run an 18" Xcon. But 2 Icons will be nice on that amplifier. You'll love them. Put them both on the same side. It doesn't matter if they're touching each other.

Bigger Battery?

It's not the best way to do it but it works. I have the stock battery under the hood and a Kinetic 1200 in the back, with no problem. I will change the under hood batt soon because I have it for 4 years, it may be tired ! I need to check both batts.
