That is a serious classic...truck. I love it. Don't do too much custom work on it. It looks like it should be kept simple ! Except a rim change So much sub for this old car ? Nooooo ! Use one or 2 subs, that should be enough on a good 4 ch amp.

    Netherlands

This doesn't support our international distributors. Customers also recieve no national warranty as a result of grey importing. I.e. you will need to take it back to base should problem arise, where you could have just purchased via local distributor. I did not know there was a distributor in the Netherlands. I was talking about the way they ship internationally on the SSA store. I have no interest in any way with them !!!

    average wait time

You're all so lucky with those super short waiting times. . . . . . . Maybe it's longer for recone kits, I don't know.

Just register on Bongo International and order your sub from the Fi website using the US address they'll give you on the Bongo site. Or contact your local rep.

    1 X10 Vs 2 SA-8 V.2 on 1000w RMS

IDMAX are still available ? Sure ? Sundown and SSA,both make great products, and have great customer service. I don't really like 8" subs But you should try to compare subs wih the same dimensions. From all of those subs, I've only tried the SSA Icon, and I found it amazing. 2 8" subs(ported) won't take less room than a single 10" ported. I might be wrong...I've never tried setups like that.

What You Say When Someone Asks "Why SSA?"

What is this packaging problem ? I've ordered several SSA subs (3 Xcon 15" and 1 Icon 15"). No problem at all, and they were not sent in those "hard wood packaging". My subs took the plane to Europe, from Las Vegas, then back to the Caribbeans in very good shape I tried USPS, Fedex, UPS,...with no issue. Customer service is amazing. They answer all my emails so fast, I wonder if they sleep or take some week-ends off ! I was talking about that with a friend last friday, while having a demo from his car (4 btl n2 15" on 2 Crescendo 3k5 : breath taking). I won't buy Fi subs anymore, because of their customer service, but my next sub will be an SSA Zcon without a doubt. This caraudio forum is the best I've found so far.

    dragonz 06 eclipse small build.

Why ? He did not know it was for an Xcon ? Tell us, because it's not a good thing for the box guy reputation !

I have a great deal on a used DD 9515 : what do you think ?

I managed to get a 3.8 ft3 (net volume) box. I don't know if it has old style basket and soft parts, but if you knew the price of audio equipment here, you would not have pass this deal !!! A DD dealer told me it's a 9515 h IIRC. 250€ for a sub worth 900-1000€ (when you include shipping and taxes). I already have customers for one sub ! When I get the 2nd sub reconed, I'll sell one easily. I will sell the 2nd later, so I can order the Zcon 15" I want.
  12. Hi guys, I have a very good deal on aDigital Design sub. It's a 9515, very cheap I've never heared any, in a correct box. I don't know how it will sound in a 3 to 3.5 ft3 ported box. That is what I can fit in the "trunk" of my Toyota auris. the Auris is like a little bigger Corolla hatchback 4 doors, with a very small hatch. I still have my 12" BTL n2, but I have a buyer...he's in the starting blocks, waiting to take it from me !!! Originally I was debating between an SSA Zcon and an AA Mayhem, but the DD9515 came and it costs "only" $300 locally ! I think I can't pass on this deal. My amp is a sundown saz1500. I saw some saz 2500 at db-r, but the DD is rated for 1600 w rms. My question : do you think I can like how it will sound in a 3 to 3.5 ft3 portee box ? I love the sound of the BTL n2. The Xcon and Icons are amazing too, so maybe I would love the Zcon !

    my new gear this week

Nice equipments ! What amp will you use for those 2 beasts ? I can see the pics on my computer ! Lots of weight in that civic...But you are taking good care of that, from what I can see

I have a great deal on a used DD 9515 : what do you think ?

I'm waiting on the Trinidadian dealer for the recone kit. DHL should deliver monday ot tuesday ! I will get the broken 9515 later today. The one I have is playing in my car on the Sundown saz1500 in a 3.8ft3 box with a (small) 6.5" round port. After some days it plays louder and louder : I don't know why, it is a used sub so I was not expecting it to play louder after some times ! I like how it sounds but I must admit I prefer the btl. It is less musical than the btl or of course the Xcon ... I will keep it and play with it. I'll sell the second one, and maybe the other later. My goal is to buy a Zcon 15".

    NeoPro v.2 Information

Is it worth it to change the v1 for the v2 ? A friend of mine just asked me that question. What benefits on the same power ? Can it be louder, or cleaner sounding ? I did not pay attention there was a v2 !

2012 Fusion All Sundown Everything! Start Pg. 14

wow ! All those subs, boxes and amps... Finally, what do you prefer for substage ? I've read about 12"s, 10"s, 15", double 12s or 10s,... I was lost for a moment ! Those X look huge, and I know how big is an Xcon. you build nice enclosures, for sure ! Congrats

    icon 15 mounting position

Can it be good to stuff polyfill in a (too small) ported box ? I guess it needs to be well glued because it can go away by the port. What can be the effects on the box tuning, and volume ?

need help with a box for my kickers....

Some members here can design very good box for you. It's cheap and efficient. Try DL Custom, or DL Designz. I have good results with RAM Designs, too. But if you want to make it by your own, it's up to you !

    mayhem for daily

Check your electrical and your batteries. A friend of mine had a full charge on all his batts recently : he was blown away, after that. He told me he never thought his system could be so loud !!! He has 2 12" Fi bl in a 4 ft3 box @ 32 or 34 Hz. Maybe you need to charge your batts before any purchase

Help choosing 2.1 home set up

Last month, I bought a set of Klipsch bookhelf speakers. http://www.klipsch.com/b-20-bookshelf-speakers-pair Those mids are awesome and the tweeters are beautiful !!!!! The amp is an old Marantz (2 x 70 w IIRC). I bought an amplified Jamo sub system http://www.jamo.com/speaker-types/subwoofers/?sku=SUB300 . I did not want Jamo at first, but I had no more choice, and the price was right. Nice sound, powerful, lows are really there !!! I LOVE this system ! Twice the cost of my bose acoustimass 5 (+10 years old), but it sounds sooo good. Good luck. You're in the USA, so you can get quite anything. Keep looking, and keep listening. When I bought my system, the seller did not even know what he was selling. I had to listen to every speakers to chose for myself. I'm happy with my choice, so far
  21. DD 9515 installed in a 3.8 ft3 box (@ 35 Hz) : it's loud, but the sub does not even move when plaiying!! :):)

I like it, seems to have a lower peak than the n2 12", generally.

nice! how does it compare music wise? are you hitting as low as you want?

      hard to compare a 12" N2

and a 15"DD. The btl seems more "smooth", more musical.

    ZED Dreadnought : available ?

Hi, Somebody asked me about the ZED Dreadnought amp he saw on the SSA store. He wants to know if or when this amp is available. He is looking for this kind of power and the choice is not so big. Thanks for your info.

How much room I need to leave in front of a port ?

It's what I thought, edouble101. I need all the room I can save for the DD9515 : it needs box volume. I am getting 3.8 ft3 net, at 35 HZ. RAM designed the box for me, but I wanted to check some things, here ! He told me that I would not need elbow; with the height of the box, and the port length. Thanks, guys.
  24. Hello , I am building a box with a round port. I'll try to flare the openings to have a nice flare port It will be a 6" port or an 8", I don't know yet ! How far from the box side can I have the port ? How much "room" does it need to play correctly, safely ? I know I can use an elbow, and I will if it's necessary. Thanks in advance for your advices.

    midbass...omnidirectional?

Thanks for this informative answer, Impious. Would it be better to have one midbass driver under each seat ? Maybe downfiring ? Sorry, OP.
