I hope I understand it right! So, I take the 50.4 and that's'it. Thanks. -
ouch 550, i assume you can beat that from another site, crutchfield is almost always overpriced. you should also look into the Pioneer Premier DEH-P800PRS, which you can get under 400 and seem to have most of feature your probably looking for in an active hu. maybe try tracking down the older model Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS to save cash, but it doesn't look like your hurting tobad... then there is always the alpine hu and the h701 processor that is very popular aswell. I don't remember your hoals, but these are really good decks. Are you sure it-s what you want? I have a Pioneer DEH88prsII (european model) and I love it. But I think I could have bought a cheaper one and be pleased with it too! Do you want to use an iPod? Do you need bluetooth, video,...? Think about every option you can need. Alpine has goods deck too : 9887, 9886, and many more Take your time and good luck. I want bluetooth (but not needed) and I need iPod connection. And well enough to play my cds and mp3's So, the Pioneer prs series may not be the cheapest choice : you will have to buy some more gear to run Ipods, or to use bluetooth. Look at the others series or at Alpine or others. What do you all think?

The bottom one is from 2008 : I had it in my car in July 2008, for several months, and I had the older one (2006)before, but I am not sure it is the one on the first picture. I was not really happy with them. They need big boxes to just sound ok, and I always had them in sealed boxes. I have an SSA Icon now, and I love it : I can hear bass and not only boom boom!

Looking for a 2 channel amp
Notorious97200 replied to Notorious97200's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I can sell my Boston at a very very good price (I need some cash). And my comps can only handle 80 watts rms. So 225 gives me too much headroom!!! -

great price! Thanks I did not see it! I've just ask Sundown, on their forum, what they think about it for my front speakers. I wanted to know if this offer is still available. -

It is the same price. Why would I do that? I don't understand the advantage of doing so. I will take the Sundown 125.2 as soon as I get the money. It may be very soon, I hope so !!! For the first time in my car audio life, I will have 2 amps with the same brand, same look! -

The Cadence is no more available. I have to look for another one ! I will have to take the Sundown. I should have bought it during the sales, I just took the saz 1000. I couln not buy both! What a pitty!!! Maybe I will save some more money! What other choices can you give me M5 , or others? -
It starts to look less "confuse" ! It makes sense now, don't you think? good luck

Just wire it to 2 ohms. x2

Problems with Ported Enclosure for 12'' Fi X
Notorious97200 replied to imhungnurnot's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
Why don't you build a bigger box? A much bigger one. Small box : boom boom ! Tune it around 35 Hz, or make a sealed box, it is easier As they told you : ssf @ 25 Hz and LPF @ 80Hz. Just my 2 cents. . -

I always use special requests; I need my orders quick !!!!!!!! You'd better compare the different shippers costs, and decide what will be better for you : the fastest, the cheapest ? But one thing is important : With SSA, no problem; be confident !!!

You know you'd better follow M5's advice. He sure knows what he is talking about!

1 Ohm stable for sure. But I think I've read that you will not have any warranty at 0.5 Ohm, but it can work for burps ! Maybe you can wire your subs another way? Ask Sundown, on their dedicated forum.

Take the Cadence? Why not? I've never used Cadence, but I can try. It's a pitty I can't buy it on the ssa shop ! But they look serious at Powermax. -
$150 is really cheap for Estonia for an Icon! I doubt you can find cheaper. It's worth it ! 550$ : wow that is a lot of money.Maybe you don't have special deals with shippers like a pro seller. Don't forget the customs in your country. Good luck

Problems with Ported Enclosure for 12'' Fi X
Notorious97200 replied to imhungnurnot's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
My enclosure has far less port area than it should : about a half !!! And my 15" Icon sounds so good with that. You must keep on working on your system; something is still wrong. -
Did I do something wrong or is there something really weird with my 12
Notorious97200 replied to Canadian 2.5RS's topic in Sundown Audio
Have you checked Gain, LPF, the remote(on minimum?) ? Good luck. -
no problem I read everywhere that the saz were built like tanks. It's one of the things I like from them. BTW do you intend to make a smaller 2 ch amp? I will need one, but the 125.2 is too powerful. I just neef 2 * 80-90 rms, so it should be cheaper !!! I am on a small budget for that.

What would be a good amp to use?
Notorious97200 replied to ML91's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Reputation alone should sell you on Sundown... Good choice on the 1000D! x2 I love mine!!! Small but powerful. I think these amps really do their rated power : my Icon seems to love it too !
