So you think your system is big?

In a church ? wow ! For a minute I thought it was for a massive reggae dancehall sound system !

Drek75633's 3) 18s in a mustang build! Lots of batts and neo s

What do you plan for mids & highs ? 3 warden's 18" : Damn ! That's insane for a Mustang !!! The car needs some upgraded suspensions. Gotta see what these D9 are rated for : I saw 2 runs of 0ga for power ! wow  Great build, keep on working ! BTW, nice car. Mustangs are always beautiful in red.
  3. Rain, rain. We need some sun down here. We don't want any hurricane !

    SAX-200.4 Prototypes In

The 100.4 is already huge, but this one ...Damn It must be a beast !!! The price will be certainly high enough to understand that's not a typical amp !!!

    Sealing off the trunk

nice installs J-Roadtatts : soooo clean!!! I must show these pics to a friend of mine : will give him ideas for future installs in trunk cars. Thanks:drink40:
  6. People on forums often think "mainstream" as not so good ! As it's been said, mainstream companies make good and reliable products. They might be too expensive though ! Mainstream for you may not be so mainstream for people outside the USA. MTX, JL, Rockford, Kicker,... We're not really used to these brands in my country!! To the OP : remember that L7 15" are rated for 1000 w rms in sealed enclosures and 750 w rms "only" for ported ones. Your MTX amplifier seems to be a good choice. :fing34: To J LFTN : one of my friend has a 4000 w MTX amp like yours : it is really small for so much power! It looks beautiful but has too much lights and things on it. If you don't hide it, it looks like you have a factory in your car !!!

    Xcon tuned to 35hz

:suicide-santa:Aaah!!!! I understand : he wants it all ! good sound, high numbers on the meter,...

    Xcon tuned to 35hz

I would stick to what SSA tells you : 28-33 Hz. Tune to 33 and that's it ! Why do you want a higher tuning ? Do you have that box already ?

    4 DP21 Wall Build

Keep the faith ! It's starting to look F*!#ing good. The "flush mount" panel is a good idea, for minimal weight. It must be Heavy already!!
  10. Ssf at 15 hz ? If I understand it well, you should only use a small sealed box. If you use a ported box, you should not listen to music with lots of low bass notes. Usually music does not go too low. What do you listen to? What kind of music ?

    good amps?

You'd better look for a 1000 watts amp that is 1 Ohm stable. You will want to upgrade later, for sure :). 500 watts at 2 Ohms for now, and 1000 at 1 ohm for the future. Think about it !

    Need a new system!!

You can buy a good Line Output Converter, and then get any amplifier you want. Don't buy your subs too fast. I'm sure some members can give you better options on box and subs. Take a serious look at the Build Log subforum, you may find some new ideas for your install. Good luck

    sundown products availible on woofersetc.com????

Nice move ! It means that Sundown is growing. That's good news for everybody!! congratulations !!! :fing34:

    Been Lurking

Welcome on board ! Nice score ...with "only" 1200 watts on one sub:fing34: !

    which 15" for Tundra

With your budget you can take a look at the SSA Xcon. A 1000 watts amp will be enough to make the Xcon shine, but it will love to have more : like with an sax 1200 or an saz 1500 (from Sundown). The BL is a good choice too. But I'm biaised to the xcon : I do love mine in a 3 ft3 sealed box, in a ported box it is an insane sub!!! Choose your sub first and then, find an amp.
  17. Do you already have all the ed equipment ? Crossing my fingers... I am a Pioneer guy for HU. I tried a "high end" Alpine once, and I never liked it. Each is own !

    which 15" for Tundra

Take a look at the ssa store ; they have great packages with the Icon ! But what are you looking for ? Insane bass?! Perfect Accuracy? ... What do you listen to? You seem to have enough room for the right box. Do the big 3 in 0 ga, buy a voltmeter to put in the cabin. Then you will know if you need more electrical upgrades.
  19. Notorious97200

    4 fi q 12s ported or 6 sealed

:peepwall:ROFL Get 4 Bl's and a custom ported box : you'll love them ! Don't tune the box to high.

    Shipping Australia

so much Aussies here ! Cool ! Good luck with your purchase guys!! At least, you do know they ship to Australia
  21. Notorious97200

    sa's or nightshades

I agree. The sa's will not like that kind of power for too long IMO. 6000 watts for 4 x 600 watts rms subs (2400 watts rms). Dam..., that's pushing !
  22. Notorious97200

you will never find..... A bitch like mine...

a cane corso and a rotweiller ? You don't need house alarm, for sure. They seem to be in good health ! Beautiful dogs !!!

    95 Grand Am build

congratulations ! Your doors are really cool !!! (only) After the first pics I started to love them. A lot of people would love to do such mods, but very few know how to !
