Strange electrical issue?

Thanks for all the info and help guys. While I was writing the first post I had the batteries on the charge and now the electrical seems to be doing a lot better. I will still do what yall suggested. I guess the last couple shows I've been to drained them down. -
Strange electrical issue?

Ok. Ever since I can remember I have had a small problem with dimming headlights. However, I never really noticed because I don't blast my system full tilt very often and hardly ever at night. For some reason my lights seem to be dimming a lot lately. I currently have a 200amp alternator with 3 deka intimadator batteries. This powers my saz3000d at 1ohm. I thought that I might have a loose connection or my alternator was failing. I started testing voltage and this is where I'm confused. With the bass at nearly full tilt with the lights dimming bad my voltage stays at a steady 13.98 volts. With nothing on it's charges at 14.2. So, my question is how or why is my lights dimming so bad with little to no voltage drop? Thanks for yalls help. Ps. I tested with different dmm to make sure one wasn't messed up and I tested at every battery, the amp and fuse box. -
you will be impressed with the sax100.4 amp! it is a good amp, i am currently using one to power 2 sets of components! it sounds awesome! o and nice setup btw! Thanks

I have emailed Chris at db-r on two separate occasions. Both times he replied with very helpful info within 5 min. One of the times it was 10:30 at night my time. The costumer service is amazing, can't wait for my sax100.4 to arrive! :bigclap:

Something that I wish they had that would be very convenient is... A website that had a list or calender that showed what bass competitions were going on that month and where it was located, from all organizations, maybe even local shops if possible. I live in Louisiana and occasionally when there is a show I dont know about it and cant find any searching. -
yea i told the shops around here, and they try an act like I dont know what im talkin about. Because they haven't heard of it or dont sell it, to them, it must be crap.

I had a lot of fun at the show, I pretty much gave demos the whole time. People would ask what amp I was running. When I said sundown 3000, they would get that confused look. I have talked to a few audio shops and no one know what sundown is. I get a lot of questions like, "You say 3000 watts but what's its true rms"? They think its a walmart brand or something.

Yes its a dirty trick. lol
