right now im at 12cubes at 35hz but i can tune lower and take up some more volume. 36hz was about the best layout on WinISD. im located in FL and ive emailed mark twice and havent received anything. and Ive called once, CS ia HUGE thing to me and I am starting to look at other options now and really don't want too.

Well I have an old body style s10, 3kRMS, and 15.64cubes of volume. Not really sure what to do for the port but I was thinking of a 4"port spanning 44" across the top of the box. or one flared center port being 5x36 and tuning about 32hz... let me know what you guys think

well the two sonotubes seems to be the easiest and I can tune pretty low using them and still get about 12cubes for the pair. I dont think the subs can handle 3k not daily atleast and i do plan to add another pair once i get the money up for a blow through I still say go with the tubes, I just couldnt think of another word for it. anyone know about how long it takes to get orders from him? ya I am using the tubes. Just trying to figure out if i should keep the ports like theya re in the picture or move the subs down and stack the ports on top of eachother What tuning would you guys go with? I have 13.70 without port displacement, I would like to use a pair of 10" ports and I have up to 3k for power I mainly listen to hip hop, RnB and country lol ? how long does it usually take to get orders from mach?

They are just sonotubes, not aero's I cant afford 10" aero ports

can a 4th order work? 4cubes sealed and 11 ported two 12" round ports 47hz. this is how it plotted out. IDK if thats good or bad

Ok here is what ive come up with. someone please chime in and let me know. 15.06Cubic foot after subwoofer displacement. 12.78 After port displacement. The enclosure will have some dowel rods added and I am going to build a 3" thick 20x20 baffle for each woofer to let them sit deep into the box to minimize the chance to damage due to the box being so large in my truck and the seats resting against the box. the port is 6"wide at the opening for 2" going to 4"wide X 35.25" tall and 20" deep. let me know what ya think.. oh ya should be about 32-33hz

If i do two 10" round ports I can tune to about 28-30

but this is the box i would like to go with unless it is not ideal

I do think someone who spends 12-18 months on the front line deserves a break. It's one of those things if you aren't there to experience it, you wouldn't understand. Just so far you guys are the only company that doesn't.

That is a shame.

Why does it take so long to contact FI?

Ya, I have explained this a few times to my friend. Its his car im helping with. My wifes car has a pair of boston g5's setup IB style and he prefers how they sound over my two 15s in an enclosure. He only has about 450w right now to work with but we are looking to upgrade. We will setup one and see how it turns out. Thanks for the information. -
I was just curious as to why it takes so long. Ive been waiting 6 weeks so far on one, email, 4 weeks on another, and 3 weeks on my last email. I've been trying to get information before I place my order but I'm pretty reluctant to order now with NO customer service. Is there no phone number?

its a pretty simple question really. I have a 12.5cubic foot trunk i have sealed off completely from the cabin. I am getting ready to use one Ib3 18 in that install on a SS475.1, is that enough power? should i vent the trunk to outside atmosphere to get a more realistic IB setup or is 12.5 enough, can I run a pair ? -

is there no way to call and actually speak with someone at FI? and I have searched the forums, it seems that the IB3 is not a very popular sub, there were only a few threads and none pertained to my issue -

I understand they are busy and all, but waiting 6 weeks for an email is just atrocious -
Do I have enough trunk for an IB3 18"
AirFramerMack replied to AirFramerMack's topic in Fi Technical
ok so i can fit the 18 if i can buy a router and do some handle work. i have 21" to work with but 2 of that is how im mounting the wall to the metal around the opening. so really i have 19" and a 18.5" sub, so im going to double the wall and router out a circle so that gives the sub a good gap between itself and the metal -
2009 corolla, trunk i 13cubic foot.
