    Budget 12" sub help

    What's the budget?
  6. Size of the subwoofer has nothing to do with how low it will play.
  7. Whats makes class a/b leaps and bounds over class d?
  8. Is this for your doors or actual sub duty? Like stated above if it fits the alignment then why not.

    06 Pontiac GTO mild build

That would be the easiest route, I dislike those type of amp terminals.

    Pioneer USB disconnecting from bass

Vibration sounds like the culprit, plain and simple. Get that fixed or toned down some and you should be A-1. Or get a zip tie or something that can keep it in place, when the bass hits. Might be an eye sore if seen but will probably be your cheapest solution. Is there a way to lessen the vibration of the radio itself without doing so much to the car and dash. Like those brackets you used to hold your horns in place.

Yeah im looking at the PPI now but also wondering if I should save up for better quality. 6-7" Mids: Beyma Pro6WND, 18 Sound 6nd430. 8" Mids: Beyma 8G40, B&C 8NDL51 or Ciare 8.50ndw.

I had my eye on the 6nd430 before I found some sb acoustics. I've seen reviews of people either LOVING them (the 6nd430s) or not at all.

I guess it comes down to listening preferences as I prefer more sub bass than midbass.

    More power for mids?

I heard good things about those Usher drivers, even though they have a breakup thats needs eq'ing. I have been eyeing those 18sound drivers myself and they are at the top of my list if I stick with 6-7" drivers. Zaphaudio really breaks things down for an individual shopping for mids.

Hopefully the mid will have enough output to work with my horns.
  17. Yeah one camera always on makes more sense then two, just get a separate monitor for it and your set.
  18. 13.93volts with car on before upgrades, now sitting at 14.28volts after ground upgrades.

    More power for mids?

Could have metal shavings stuck on the driver, a common problem with those mids. I believe their are videos on youtube about it, remember it from my days on the ID forum. Also check your cones, they tend to warp as well causing problems.

Q1-2200D - Stability at lower impedances?

I wouldnt do it even with a good electrical for daily, just buy and amp thats put out the power you need at 2 ohms.

    cs 1100.4 stable on 16v

Obviuosly 14 volt system charges at 16 volts so im sure he means will it be okay to run in on a system that charges that high. Op why not just run the car and mids/highs amp on 12volt setup and use the 16volt setup for your subs amps.
