    What size alternator?

Haha you should of gotten one by now. Its simple man, get the biggest one you can if you plan on upgrading in the future or if you don't want to add a battery in the rear. So go for the 240.

building bandpass for 15, need some advice.

Congratulations on one of the most idiotic statements I've read on SSA. Only made worse by adding that you are thinking BP. Horrible idea.what exactly makes that an idiotic statement? and what's wrong with a bandpass enclosure? please share with me your knowledge, oh great one, for i am humbled in your wisdom. every bandpass box I've ever built has sounded good and hit hard, so what's the problem with them? and you came close to callin me an idiot, in fact that comment is borderline insulting, so please refrain from any negative comments like that. please, thank you. Get out your feelings, saying a statement is idiotic in no way means you're an idiot. But if the shoe fits then wear it.

    How are Soundqubed HDS315's?

Two Hds3 15s do not have more surface are then 2 hdc3 18s.. And 2 18s might be a tight squeeze in a 12 cube box after port and subwoofer displacement. Probably be better off going with 2 15s.I guess you didnt even read the original post where the op said four 15s and not two. So the four HDS315s will have more cone area than two HDC318s.
  6. Shit just got real, makes the enclosure i built yesterday look pathetic.

    Need Battery help

Measure what size your current battery is and check out sears website to see what fits under the hood. Get that battery and do the big 3 wiring. Also buy a volt meter to monitor voltage, if you still have voltage issues then add an H/O alternator or add a battery in the rear.

Single large midwoofer or multiple smaller

Why not a pair of Silverflute 8s per door, if going the pa speaker route are you gonna port your doors?

    Aloha everyone

    One or two 15s?

Why not just get a higher powered 15" woofer since box wont be changing and work on electrical and bigger amp down the road if need be.

    One or two 15s?

I mean, in a good way Actually it would hurt if he is gonna shove two 15"s in a 4 cubic foot enclosure, thats just enough room for two 12"s. Op if you cant fit the subs in the recommended enclosure size on Fi's site then stick to one 15". If you were able to fit them then yes 850 a piece would be fine since there is no such thing as underpowering subs.
  17. that new Crescendo Encore 10k though :drools:

    Amp

I would pick this any day over a hifonics amp, does rated power and has been proven to be reliable over the years.

i need help choosing my sub/amp

I wouldnt buy a subwoofer just because it has a 4 inch coil, thats like buying an 18" subwoofer just because it looks cool without knowing if it can fit in the car or even if it fits your goals. Not a fan of soundqubed subs but to each their own. With a budget of $1000, you have a lot of options.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

They are fun, but holy crap they can be nuts. They are awesome dogs. I had a couple when I was younger and would love one for my next. They have always been my favorite dogs but never owned one, have plenty of friends who have one or had one. I do miss my blue pit though
