After that mistake and not knowing what type of simple speakers you bought are you sure your ready for a 3000watt or more install. Slow down and take your time man or you will just end up wasting money and equipment (believe me I have been there).

so ive been wrong about asking stuff please help me now with component

I have been giving you all the information on these issue, now its just time to narrow down to the ones you pick (its up to you nobody can make the decision for you). -
www.cascade-designs.com for omega subwoofer he is referring to.
-
Stop pushing the sub so hard unless you dont want to keep it, the smell is the sub telling you to ease up man (thats why speakers have an rms rating).
-
Yes JL Audio sells tweeters, go look on their website or any car audio store's website that sells JL Audio and you will fine (you just gotta look).
-
Pretty much any sub can be inverted.
-
Nice clean install.

Im not sure the exact numbers on the SSF on Sundown Amps but I just made an equation out of it (60-10= 50 50/2=25 so every quarter of a turn is about 12.5Hz or so, if Im wrong somebody will chime in and tell me) so at 10% I doubt its at 25Hz. I think your sub sonic filter is set way to low, just my .02.

Battery or Cap
jcarter1885 replied to Hell-Razor's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Batteries all day, CAPS no don't do it man. -
Dont worry about what the birthsheet says just get a DMM and run it at what its rated to do(1500rms x 1 @ 2ohms) to avoid clipping. There is no problem with underpowering a sub.
-
I personally feel like you could be doing a 150 with your current setup, you just need to re-do your box first. What size enclosure and tuning do you have for those subs? Wow a 2500rms Q, haha now thats hilarious.
-
I would keep it and enjoy the lows until I save up enough to buy some real drivers like you plan (dont waste money cause you wanna half-ass do something until you do it right later on). Just my .02.
-
x2, or go get one custom made for your subs at a local shop if you cant make your own. They probably didnt account for sub displacement on that box so tuning and enclosure size may be a tad bit off.
-
Your best bet is to go to different car audio shops in your area and listen to components, everybody's taste in how they want their system to sound is different. Pick out the components you want and then come back with the list so we can better help you and direct you in the right decision.

Thanks man.The box is 14.63 cu ft. It probably looks so small though because its the Cadillac ESV, the long one, like a Suburban. You can check out more pictures in the link in post #1. Yeah that is what I was thinking, its my eyes and thats the big boy Escalade.

Glad you could join us. Sounds like you want to do an IB enclosure in your Crown Vic.
-
First we need more info, second who really knows the answer to that. More than likely a BL since its geared toward SPL and since you want to know whats louder you will want a BL. Instead if a which sub is louder topic, do a topic like which sub is geared towards my taste.
-
Nice flex on the headliner. What size box is that (it seems kinda small but maybe its my eyes)?
-
Please dont make more than one topic about the same thing, should of just posted this under your previous topic about boxes.
-
That does seem a bit odd to compare those with a w7 and idmax. Maybe they meant the sound quality who knows. All i know is they sound great with 500w and they are priced right at 190 for a pair. My concern is if they're gonna last. Only 1 way to find out i guess. As long as you play it within its specifications I dont see why any sub wouldnt be able to last.
-
Why did you make two different topics about this. A build log is to show people your install and get feedback and opinions, not to ask questions.
-
Ms. Cookie is out there doing here thing, everytime I see the SA-12's in motion I swear I want to get some. What was here average score?
-
I remember being into having all those speakers in the car since its like that down in Florida where I was going to school at and getting started into doing installs. I do like the creativity that most people do with placing those speakers but it can get out of hand. Im not gonna bash since its not my style or taste but like I said some do like nice, the only problem I have nowadays is the people with horns and speakers outside there cars(now I think it is stupid and killing the car audio scene for everyone since most of these people are starting to mak bans on car audio worse then it already is). Just my .02

That is mostly personal preference, if you have the moeny and want it done then by all means do it. It wont help with the output of the subs so basically this is a question that you can answer for yourself.

Trying to buy amps because your electrical isnt good, still does not help your electrical system out at all (you need to also worry about making simple upgrades to your electrical system like the Big 3). A bad electrical sytem will cause amplifiers to hot quicker, unstable voltage (more drops) and less power since you can keep your voltage high.
