Sounds wierd like how, need more information. You probably have to much power going to the sub(how did you set the gains on the amplifier)? The fact that you dont have a Sub Sonic Filter on that amp may be a problem too (I would suggest selling that amp and getting a new one (you need a SSF and not a set one either, one that can be adjustable).

I personally think that is a ridiculous idea. Magnets will mess up the screen, since those subs have bigger magnets than my cvx's (which messed up my tv since, I had the tv sitting on top of my box with subs in it) I know they will mess up tv Why would you want to do that anyway?

Faulty connections somewhere, either headunit/amp or subwoofers (check power, ground, remote start wires and speaker wires inside box). -
If you have to ask then go Icon.

Just curious, when you put items on a blank cd does it gain weight or stay the same weight as a blank cd?

Dual 12" FI BTL In Custom Enclosure Question

I would personally just do both subs firing towards the rear, just my .02. -
is this electrical setup sufficient?
jcarter1885 replied to wafsman's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I personally think the Kinetik HC1800 with a Kinetik HC2000 would be better for you, get a voltmeter and watch voltage (if still having problems then a HO Alternator will be your next step). -
Everybody said that would be a good size box for Level 3, what else do you want us to say for you to believe us. http://www.dcsoundlab.com/specs.html (do some research, it will help you). Good luck man.

Anyone know about MA Audio HK1997?
jcarter1885 replied to tripslipfall's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yeah I have two of there amps Im trying to sell (not gonna hype them up but they do the job, rated power and some). I have the 2-channel AP1200 (pushed highs and subs nicely when either set was on it) and 4-channel AP1040 (pushed highs nicely and loud) without any problems. Just some cheap electronics but do a good job in my opinion if you were on a serious budget. -
s/n ratio?
jcarter1885 replied to ambyrell1's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
what should i look for in a good amp? If you look on it and it says sundown, then its a pretty good amp. x2 on that statement. -

what should i look for in a good amp? A good reputible company, make sure the amps they put out are underrated and not overrated. What are you needing your amp to power, what are you looking for in an amp? -
x2, my polo and jordan fetish has also taken a backseat to my car audio addiction (I just cant leave it alone, sometimes at night while laying down I hear my speakers from in my car outside calling my name).
-
x2, I dont think its a rip off (just be aware its refurbished thats why its cheap). I have used refurbished amps and subs without a problem a few times but vowed to by new from now on, it just personal preference.

Do you just need a temporary amp to get you by until you buy something else than I can help you. Its not much but I have a Profile California AP1200 that does 200Rms(a little more than that) x 2 @ 2ohms for $40 plus shipping. But if you know what your doing then go ahead. I do remember that MA Audio usually rated there amps at 17.8volts, 14.4volts and 12.5volts and the first number they usually list is at that 17.8volts if I remember correctly. -
No problem at all man just glad I could help you but yeah that SAZ-3500D does sound nice, good luck.

Honestly when I first got on here I was this guy comes off as Mr. Cocky but instead you will talk up what you know from experiences or actually sat down to learn and help expand other peoples knowledge. Some people just dont understand but I get that is not being cocky (like you know it all) but passionate (because you know what you talk about and care about what your talking about). Cooking and car audio are my favorite passions also, Im not the best at either one but always willing to learn how to become better. Yeah you are opinionated but who isnt, at least your opinions dont come from out of your ass without correct info to justify why. Your cool in my book man .

I have Kosher salt and just push that to the back of my seasoning cabinet but tomorrow when I make some baked chicken I will try this process of Kosher salt, garlic powder instead of how I usually do it. Just curious what would you use when you bake chicken?

Haha, Ive always said I need to start cooking from scrap and using fresh materials but just havent worked my way up to that level yet (some things I got a hand on but not all). Making Gyro pizzas for dinner. ie just chopped some garlic for the tzatziki, dough is leftover from last Monday been "rising" in the fridge for a week so the flavors ought to be developed real well, and the sauce I made a couple months ago and has been in the freezer. Too lazy to make the mozzarella, but I've thought about it. I also didn't make my gyro meat although I have been known too. I love non-processed food. x2 on loving non-processed food.

I usually dont use Salt when I cook unless it is Lawry's Seasoning Salt or Garlic Satl, depending on what Im cooking. But I do see what you mean though by using one product which claims to have two different ingredients can make you lose control on how much each portion was use. Thanks for the advice.

Size of box would help, give us some more info to help you out man.

Just dont use it, repairing it and making sure it works at the end of the day and how long is not worth it. I would just buy a reliable amp, used or new that will get the job done. What equipment do you need to amp for, Im assuming a certain rms at 2 ohms?
