    18 INCH HAVOC

x2, I would go with the Sundown Z-15 and either the Sundown SAZ-1500d or get the SAE-1200D (since it is on sale now also). Just my .02

tell me what you think of my new design

Design looks good! If running your power wire under the truck from front to back use this type of grommet http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STINGER-PG34-PRO-GROMMET-WATERPROOF-1%2F0-GAUGE-1%22-HOLE_W0QQitemZ130333934914QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090929?IMSfp=TL0909291410001r23527 Also I would run your wires behind your enclosure and use some kind of spacer to raise your amps and drill a center hole under your amps that way you can run your wires underneath, it makes for a clean install. x2, good idea on that mounting design you gave.

    What Sub do i need?

    15" Bl Fully Loaded

Give us more details, how much room do you have to build a box? If you stick within there box recommendation specs than dont give it no more than 1500rms (but it still does not need that much power, 1000-1500rms).
  11. Get what you can fit, what your pockets can afford at the moment and 8 gauge is not needed/ so its pointless to buy it.

    Four lvl 4 15s in a Cherokee

I cannot decide on my next substage (at least I have it boiled down to 1-15"Xcon or 2-12" DC Level 4's on a Sundown SAZ-2000D). What about these subs do you love so much, they look like they are getting down.

2008 Accord with a single 12" Fi SSD

Good job on keeping everything nice, keep it up. Whats do you plan on adding next or in the future?

    Need some help tuning subs

Yeah to not use it (will cause distortion and eventually may ruin the sub if not used correctly), please dont use it.
  15. x2, I use 13AWG Rockford Fosgate twisted wire leaving the subwoofers to 8 gauge but connectors with 8 gauge wire going to amps.
  16. The RXD2400 isn't listed on their website, so I assume it is older. Do you know anything about them? He basically gave you all the information you need to know about them, if it isnt on there website it only means its new and their website is not updated or its old but not the older versions like he is talking about. Just leave those amps alone period. I would rather you get Audioque over them (if it were me I would save up more money and buy one of the best amps out there, your money/system/electrical will thank you in the long run). Sundown has a presale on their amp right now for $250 I believe, it does 1200rms + @ 1 ohm(puts out close to 1500rms @ 1ohm). Go get that and call it a day (Sundown SAE-1200D), that will still leave you $250-$350 for subwoofer.

    Some songs sound weird. Why?

Well Google and search can be your best friend in life if you chose to use it (I got plenty of tips and help on using the DMM) plus there are plenty of people on this forum who will lend you a hand you just have to ask.

    Screen Install In Box

I seen screens everywhere and to me they are played out (I guess people who have just gotten into the car audio game or just now seeing them might think they are cool). Staying in Texas and Florida (I seen 20" or bigger screens inside the car with 6 other screens around it, I seen screens in a car door/actually 1 screen in each door). But if thats what you want them go for it I guess.
  19. With what you have been naming lately, if you want bang for your buck then stick with what you have in your signature. I personally would go Sundown(do rated power at 12.8volts, not a 14.4 volts like most amps and since you wont see 14.4volts continuously you wont be getting max potential from your amp) for amps but its all up to you.

    Some songs sound weird. Why?

Yes the real store brought cd's will be way better than anything downloaded (mp3 or anything). Thats why I keep two in the car when I want to go all out. I wasnt looking close enough and yes you do have a sub sonic filter but its a fixed one (25Hz), I still think this may be your problem or that your gains arent properly set (I advise you get a DMM and set them right, being at 3/4 doesnt mean anything you still can be clipping the amp also).
  21. Horrible amount of information but just listen to what I suggested earlier, if you can find a larger alternator for your car than that will help also ( if not get a charger and charge your batteries ever now and then).

    Work Out Music????

The music I listen to when I work out is not the everyday music I bump in my system. I like to get music that will get me moving and want to do something constructive, Im an old school head (Ojays, Temptations, Barry White and so on). Since rap gets repetitive it gets annoying to me after a while, every now and then Ill toss some r&b in there. But I guess its depends on what you like.

    Screen Install In Box

So your still gonna do it? I feel there are plenty of other places to put a screen at and an enclosure is not one of them. I would try to find somewhere else in the rear to put it (but to each its own).
  24. Just save up your money and get a reliable amp that has good customer service and does rated power and more. What are you looking for in an amplifier? What will it power? I'm sort of still undecided. I am trying to get the most I can from the trunk out of a ported enclosure with a single 12. I was looking at the CADENCE DAYTONA DCW-12RVC 12" here http://www.audiosavings.com/products/product-details.aspx?item_guid=0f684393-78b3-456f-9bff-bc6dca4d02dc or the RE AUDIO MX12D2 12" here http://www.audiosavings.com/products/RE-AUDIO-MX12D2-MX12-D2-MX-12-3000w-CAR-SUBWOOFER-SUB.gf7a612ac-c86c-4d89-84cf-a7d4e35c688a.r.aspx Or do you think I would be better off just sticking with the AQ setup AQ HDC3-12 and AQ1200d? Was just thinking I could get more bang for my buck LOL. Well you cant get the most from a trunk with a 12" sub and ported enclosure with best bang for your buck equipment. Not saying you cant have a good system but you wont be getting the most from it. I think you should figure out what you sub your running first and then decide on an amp because your jumping from 1200 rms to 2000rms, seems like your all over the place. You should give a budget on how much you have to spend or want to spend (wires, box, electrical, amp and subs).
