Ok appreciate ya for the info just wanted to make sure . -
I bet if you hook that drum up to that SAZ-1500D it will put out more DB's than that 12" Nightshade. Just joking but nice piece of equipment you have in your hands.

Big 3 Question
jcarter1885 replied to Maggotpuffin's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Just curious as to why you say dont replace the stock wire only add on (not trying to start an argument, I replaced my wire and havent had a problem), just hoping it wont hurt in the long run or something since I did mine different? I just replaced my two ground wires(battery to cars frame has two runs of wire, while engine block to frame only has one run) only for now to 1/0AWG and sit at 14.8v (hot summer day), 15.1v (cool fall day) and 15.3v (cold ass fall day) when car is first turned on and no accessories with stock batt and alternator. -
The only way anybody will know what can fit in there is if you get a measuring tape and measure the max dimensions of your trunk and tell them to us, then we can go from there.

Fucking Sweet Avatar man .

Please read Noob Posting Guidelines before posting again so you can get your questions answered properly and give us more information. What kind of box (which should of been stated from start)? Sealed or Ported If ported what do you want it ported too (if you dont know, what type of music do you listen to)? Which direction do you want your subs and port facing?
-
Make sure you your Bass Boost/Extend = OFF and Loud/Loudness = Off on your headunit, glad everything came together.
-
Glad you could join us, and your first post includes a build log (couldnt of started off any better). I cant wait to see the next set of pictures .
-
Well then you got a plan, just make sure you seal off the box this time (there are plenty of builds with this done already if you need any tips or suggestions to go from). Good luck and share a build log with us once you start.

x2 or give us a model number so we can help you out a little bit. -
Glad you could join us Joe.

When you had the subs forward and port forward was the front of the box sealed off so trunk and cabin were seperated (I think that should yield loudest spl in car. What all equipment is in the car, electrical upgrades, etc. Maybe time for more power depending on what you already have amplifier wise.

They have gucci, louis vutton and other fabrics available to wrap your enclosure with.

x2, that or check your rca's they might not be fitting on the rca jacks tightly. -
What sub will you be getting? There are too many factors to even give a rough estimate on how many dbs, such as: install, box, proper electrical upgrades and then equipment).
-
so its decisions time, sundown or AQ
jcarter1885 replied to antonmiller's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Im not a fan of buying refurb anymore but I have in the past and they all worked like brand new and didnt mess up unless I messed them up. I like Sundown amps and they do rated power at 12.8 volts unlike AudioQue ams do at 14.4 volts (unless you can keep your voltage steady at 14.4 you wount be getting optimal output from amp). But I personally would buy a Sundown Amp from db-r.com since he specializes in amp repair and not just Sundown amps plus nobody who has gotten one from him had a major problem and if so he fixes it for no poblem. Just my .02 and good luck in deciding. -
