Just pick whatever amp out of the two that you can afford and make sure you have the electrical to back it up.

It would be hard running 4 gauge wire to 8 gauge push terminals on the sub. True.. but where theres a will theres a way.. I kinda feel like 8ga would choke the current, but Im not a pro.. 8 gauge will choke what current (yeah im glad your not a pro), they are just subwoofers). 8 gauge wire will be fine and all you need.

Usually you take half the rating of amps your amp has, and if Im correct it has 4 x 40A = 160A / 2 = 80A or better.

A Kinetik HC1400 or 1800, anything battery with around 80AH.

yea i realized that part # was for the 16v what size do i need though Nobody can tell you if you dont tell us more info (what do you need the battery for, what equipment is in the car, have you done the big 3 yet-that will help).
