Even though the Big may be hard to do (the positive wire from battery to alternator isnt completely neccessary if you dont upgrade your alternator and you already have a nice size wire on there such as 4 gauge). I only replace my ground wire out the big 3 (battery negative to cars frame and alternator negative/engine block to cars frame) and it gave me steady voltage and higher car turn on voltage. A cap wont help you since you are having voltage or not enough power issues in my eyes.

x2, OP did you even contact them to see what they said or did you just come on here to bash them without seeking customer service first? Hopefully it can be resolved and fixed, but keep us posted with everything that happens and not just what is wrong.

x2, Hifonics is a good budget amp just known to fail on you if you get a bad one and they dont have the best customer service. You will not regret getting a 1600 watt amp over a 2000 watt amp (the difference wont be noticeable), plus cvx's dont need 1000rms hence there 750 rms rating. You can look at a 2000watt amp just make sure you set your gains correctly (with DMM) and watch how you use the volume knob. An amp on sale that will push them nicely is a Sundown SAE-1200v2:

Since there is no such thing as underpowering a sub then yes it will suffice, until you get the amp you want in the future if you plan on upgrading.

How far off is it than a TL because I am also really just considering buying one and paying if off by letting others use it for a small fee. All I know is it is not accurate, I have heard some say its acurrate, some say it is off by 3 db's, som say 5 db's and then up to 10db's. I have never heard of anyone actually doing a test to see how far off but I know there off by at least 3 db's or more if I had to guess.

No problem at all, but dont get me wrong I do have fun with it on some songs to though (just make sure you need it before you buy it thats all Im saying). If you have money to spend and want to have some fun and tweaking measuring device till you get a TL Meter or something I would get it. Just my .02

I only use mine for voltage read outs, no the meter is not accurate but an effective way in telling whatever tweaking your doing is helping or hurting your system. I do listen to alot of old school so it helps in that region but if you dont need it for those needs there is really no point in buying a bass processor.
