Who care what other say again, these are dudes you will never meet so who cares if someone says something about you. Grow up man, words are words and your showing that you will let someone say something to you in real life and your willing to go to jail for your life just over some words (that offended you or got under your skin). Just cause other people do things and get away with it then hey its life, just like when it comes to the law (race, social status) play the same role. Its some laws that others can break that I cant, if I do I will get a slap on the wrist and a long jail time at the worst jails instead of a small sentence in the best plush prisons. Its life dude and if it were fair then nobody would have a problem with anything but since its not you just gotta take the punches and role with them. Your arguing about forum rules which have nothing to do with real life, let life stress you out and not a fucking forum man. For real if somebody says something else dont respond, Im tired of reading about some shit that is a week or more old and wont be resolved. If you have a problem with this thread then dont return its that simple. Your making it worse by letting this dudes words affect you, which you shouldnt (their bringing out a female trait in you and that is getting emotional, so dont do that leave that for the females out there).

All these options ported will blow your last setup out of the water.

Just because that is how big your trunk is doesnt mean that is how much space you have available for an enclosure. You still have to make room for amps, batteries, air flow around the box so it wont take up the entire trunk, air flow so your amps can breathe and wont overheat.
-
You still need to list some, just trying to fit as many subwoofers as you can is not going to cut it. Basically you need to decide if you want to go ported or sealed and dont choose sealed because you can have more subs (doesnt mean jack shit). If you want to go ported then get one 15" or two 15"(if you want to give up all your trunk space). I would either go with 2-12"s ported or 1-15" ported so you can have room for amps, air flow to get around subs (unless you face everything forward and seal the trunk off from the cabin) and a secondary battery if need be.

Im watching a little NBA, hoping my Dallas Mavericks beat these Rockets. I do go for any Texas team when they are playing a non-Texas team except for the San Antonio Spurs, I just despise them so much.

Some people just dont have the common sense or want to bump so bad they could care less if something is wrong. I checked my sub the other day when I got it brand new from Sundown and even tested it on a house stereo to make sure nothing went wrong from leaving Sundown and getting to me. Now he wants to argue with the man who makes them, not a smart move buddy especially when he is trying to help you out. Listen and learn from your mistakes so they wont happen again in the future. A clipping light only means it will tell you when it suspects clipping, it doesnt stop the amp from clipping. Im pretty sure everytime you had it on and playing you were not starring at the clipping light. Even if you dont think it was your fault or dont know how it was your fault just accept the responsibility so this can get fixed in a timely manner instead of arguing something you dont know. Trust me you dont know how it could of happened since you dont make subwoofers, since you dont you wont know how this subs structure affects the performance only the manufacturer would (so listen to NDMstang65 and I wish you good luck with this).

Glad you could join us man

I doubt it considering he hasnt said anything about it plus he will be closed that day so I dont see how he would.

Everything goes down to the install, so you answered your own question (it will be hard to tell).

Just cross your sub at either 60 or 80Hz or in between depends on your preference. Then where you sub drops off at that is where you want to cross your midbass, just my 02.
-
Go to madisound.com or parts-express.com to find some tweeters that are in your budget and that can be crossed where you want them to. Come back with a list and we will be able to help you check the ones off that wont work and find one that fits your preference.

Nothing major, I finally got the wood cut that I want to place the batteries on. Stock Battery Location in the trunk - Positive : 2 runs of 4 AWG (system and car), Ground : 2 runs of 1/0 AWG Just got wood cut for battery board, what the batteries will be laid down on and attached too.

Happy Thanksgiving and have a blessed holiday with the family.

Good luck, wish my dad would of took some time to do some things with me. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, keep us posted on your ultimate decision.

Whats your budget on sub, what amp do you have for these? Your not a Q buyer, look at FI BL; those Sundown SA-12's will be a good option but we need more information than what you gave us. Why not go for 1-15" instead of 1-12" subwoofer.

Yeah I would love to see some videos .

Because of the wire is not seperated and one whole size, less resistance than using those terminals. I noticed that two when I upgraded my wire to 8 gauge.
