I not a medicine guy myself, I just try to eat a lot of fruit and vegetables which I noticed keeps me healthier but when I do get sick I just drink alot of orange juice and eat oranges. Which I do daily just more when I feel like Im coming down with something but anything hot or spicy does the trick also.

The link he posted is for this site, we have a SQ music log and a SPL music log. Look under SPL & SQ / Fabrication Thread -
Well if that is your subwoofer of choice then why would you ask about them being sealed when they are not made to be ran sealed. Do a little more research before jumping to a conclusion on your car audio.
-
That usually is same size box, same amount of power then yeah but that still does not always apply. Tha actual subwoofers themselves play a role but ported boxes have more output than sealed boxes so that flat out tells you.
-
Two 15"s with power regardless of how much should have better output.
-
Im not a subwoofer part specialist but is that the top plate of the subwoofer.
-
Yes otherwise I wouldnt of mentioned it, use the search feature or check the threads since there was a test conducted on one recently.

The only ones I can think of are Kicker KX2500.1 or AudioPipe AP3000.1D

MTX amps are usually good solid amps, the only way to tell is to hook it up to see if works and does what you need it to. What speakers are going on the amp?
-
Exactly. It will always be the wrong one. Damn I never thought about it like that, but yeah you're right.

No problem at all, keep us posted. -
If space or size is a concern than get the 800, those are some nice puppies I had one for years on a 1200 watt system. But the Kinetik will be better since it has more ah (Amp Hours).

Damn man your going to have an impressive build, Im not a genious on things but did you think of some aluminum (might be more than your budget and it might be more reflective). But I dont know just wanted to throw my .02 out there. -
Please do the test so it can clarify alot of things for me to, they say Titebond is better glue than Guerilla Glue but I never used it so I wouldnt know.

Dont rush it man if you cant find anybody to build you one, just wait till you have time or make time to build it but dont go the prefab route at all. -
x2, just make sure you get the Dual 2 ohm version so you can wire it in parallel to a 1 ohm final load.
-
Well see thats the type of information that I wanted to hear to make me switch over from liquid nails to wood glue. I go overkill also when it comes to boxes I use liquid nails as my sealent, is that going to far?
-
I have had no problems with liquid nails, so I guess its a preference thing or a subjective thing. I will use liquid nails as glue until somebody does a test or so showing how wood glue is better than liquid nails. Just my .02

Is this amp blown?
jcarter1885 replied to ShaneSauce's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Did you sand down the grounds in the car. I would suggest upgrading your BIG 3 wiring, thats what really helped me get rid of my engine noise completely. -
Just get you 2-12"s or 1-15" and call it a day.
