you but taking in efficiency and other factors, plus voltage being steady at 14.4volts then yeah they should do 5200watts.

Thanks AA for my new Viper 5901 remote start!!!

What Mike Jones song were you playing?

    Box question

It will increase it drastically, just make sure all your other settings are good and you will be fine.

dd 9500 vs btl. who wins in output?

If anybody was a walking TL Meter than they could tell you but since nobody is not, we cant tell you.

Maybe 4500 watts if that, give or take some. The only way to find out is put it in your vehicle since every install and electrical setup is different.

Well, where did he shoot it? In her mouth for a hole in one. YES. Speaking of, the gf didn't believe me that I read that eating pineapple makes semen taste better. I told her that I'd be willing to eat 3 pineapples a day for scientific purposes. She agreed to test it out A couple of girl told me that I used to eat pineapples all the time, actually all fruit can do it but one told me that pineapples was the best. Lately I been eating my fruit and alot of pineapples. What is even better is one of the main girls who first told me this is coming in town this Thursday so she will enjoy.

    saz 2k or saz 3.5k

Yeah there would be a difference your talking about upgrading from 1000 watts to 1500 watts . But it all depends: on box size, mechanical limit of sub, the wisdom of the user to control the volume knob wisely, using the gain knob conservatively, for how long and how much power you plan on throwing at the sub; if you can listen, smell or see signs of stress in the sub. I would just go with the 2000 and be happy unless your a serious competitior (but if you were a serious competitor then you wouldnt be asking this question neither) then go for the bigger amp IMO.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I learned how to do some of this house work last year and the beginning of this year before I moved back home from college. Since his dad owned all the condos there, my roommate was head maintenance man and his older brother was manager there. I learned lot from: laying pipe; installing washer and dryer in units that never had them; replacing carpet with stone, tile or wood; adding new appliances; redoing walls like your doing above. I feel as though it helped in the long run to do small fixes or add ons in the house in the future. you should have learned how to lay pipe before col lege Lmao. Ya J, high school was a very appropriate time! Haha so we got jokes everybody but that was a good one fellas. High school was primetime pipe laying that got me ready for the college years

    1 15" xcon or 2 12" icons

Whichever one is installed correctly, it doesnt matter the output wont vary to much and both will give you want you want. It will all come down to the install and box so make sure that is top notch, then buy the subs that you have the money for. If you still cant decide then do a simple option that I did just get a quarter and flip a coin, thats all the advice we can give you. Anymore and then we are lying to you but nobody will be able to tell you which one is better, the only way to do that is by both and test it out then let us know.

What did you guys pay for shipping?

It depends on which model sub since they vary in weight and size plus your distance.

    bigrank916 MLI-65 project

    Lil Somethin

Looks good , now seeing all these installs with these subwoofers got me wanting to hear a pair in person.

    Box question

The right panel is between the front and back baffle of the enclosure which accounts for that extra 3/4", while the left panel is on the back baffle only since the port starts from the left and works it way over, just look at the picture.

Remote Gain Controls and Such??? Do you use'em or no

I will only use the remote gain for my subwoofer amp but not on either of my interior speaker amps.
  19. jcarter1885

    Going Active

Yeah I would say start at 24Hz or in the region and work you way up if you feel like your sub is reaching its mechanical limit.

    Going Active

Ok thanks I know my word choice would of been off but yeah Im getting it now. So I understand that regardless of the frequency the slope range will stay the same (constant) and not change unless one of the filters' get changed. Clear as water now

    Going Active

On a side note I was trying to figure out what I should set my SSF to on my amplifier for my subwoofer. I see in the link you posted it should be half an octave lower than port tuning, my port tuning is gonna be 30Hz. What is half an octave of 30Hz? I was thinking it should be set at 22.55Hz but Im still learning. Since half an octave would be 1/4 the frequency, 30 x .25=7.5

    Going Active

So basically no matter which high pass filter (1 or 2) is set higher or lower than the other one it wont matter. The one that is the lowest is cutting off frequencies lower at steeper octave that decreases towards the highest high pass filter frequnecy setting). Correct or still off?

    Going Active

Im glad people can learn from this, that is what it is here for since I know Im not the only one who wants or needs to know this.
