Naw just to have one, protection and go to the gun range more often as a stress reliever.

Im trying to figure out if I want to step up to a .40 or .45 calibur pistol or just stay at a 9mm.
-
Yeah I know that but it was my first gun and got it for a good price, didnt really do any research before. I knew a friend selling it and decided to purchase it, it still did the job but I know I wanted better. What are some good brands, lately I have been looking at Smith/Wessons and Glocks.

Speaking of guns, I need to get me another one ( I sold mine before i left from college so I wouldnt have to drive from Florida to Texas with it plus I wanted to get another one). I had a 9mm Hi-Point and miss it.

Well unless she is defending you and the family or off to the gun range I doubt she will find it.

Check the for sale/classified section on this thread or you can buy some from db-r.com or go through the man himself who is selling some used ones: -

To me the best things about Sundown Audio is quality, customer service, rated power at 12 volts and you deal directly with the owner (which is a plus IF something happened and will get faster service to get it fixed then dealing with a mainstream company). I have heard and seen the long wait periods on amps when they need to be repaired. Just my .02 -

Probably with the right electrical and steady voltage around 14 volts or so, yeah it should do rated power and then some hopefully. I would say get whatever amp is within your budget and dont worry about the watts (your sub wont see that 800 rms the whole time anyway since music changes). If you still cant decide then do a simple coin toss and call it a day. Is the sub D1? There is no better amp, each amp will do the same for the sub which is provide power for it to bump. What is your budget? -
I noticed that for me the quickiest way to lose some pounds is to stop eating so late at night, I try not to eat past 10 and if so it will be some fruit or just something to drink. Alot of cardio will do the trick also.

:wackit: Those are the XES amps. They were the pre-mobile ES amps. Damn those look badass for some Sony Amps, guessing they performed like a charm also.
-
Yeah I was just about to suggest that you run it @ 1ohm, which I see you are.
-
I dont remember the enclosure size, but it was ported at 30hz (this was about 2 years ago but 30Hz has always been my tuning frequency).
-
Running a Sundown Amp at 0.5 ohms is voiding the warranty thats why I said it.
-
Dont void your warranty and run it at 0.5 ohms and possibly shorten its life span (if not done correctly).
-
I bet that is not your final decision on your sub setup.

Damn somebody got an excellent enclosure for the low, sucks that it happened that way. I hope the loser who did it gets caught. -

SSAUDIO.COM IS BACK!

So are you gonna cancel one of these domain names in the future or just run both of them to get to this site? -
To each his own i have never been a fan of kicker subs at all in m 13yrs as a installer pioneer subs always do better in ported enclosures we built a demo car for pioneer for our territory when i first got into this using all there entry level stuff and even the pioneer rep was impressed I am just needin s little insite this is the first sytem that i have built for myself in years so i amay be a litle behind with whats hot right now Dont get me wrong I like them but they lack the punch, the best thing about them is they did get down low and dirty (made panels on my car shake like ass in the strip club). One time my 2-12"s made my trunk open, it didnt break the latch or anything but somehow the lows popped the latch on its own (something my CVX's never did).
