Not a pain at all considering they have excellent quality service, every company on this forum has great company service.

Yeah the fitting in my car is another reason why I want them to cut it for me, dont have any friends with trucks like I did at school. Well thanks for the insight man

I had Lowes cut out my pieces for me, made it real easy Yeah I remember you saying that in one of your post that you made (thats where the idea came from today while walking around Home Depot). Was it nice even cuts?

Yeah the last time they did it IIRC was around July 4th.

With the information giving I would go with the FI BL over the Kicker L7, the FI Q is not spl oriented so it wouldnt fit it in his goals.

All RCA's and y-splitters have been purchased, just came from Home Depot and grabbed some Titebond II and clear silicone from Wal-mart earlier this weekend. On my last box I used nails and trying to figure out which route I want to go this time nails or screws? Since I dont want to rent any tools and havent bought any since I came home from college I may just have Home Depot do my cuts for me. I need to go and purchase a few clamps and some wood then I will be set to start on making me an enclosure. I ordered 1 of the 4 Mach 5 Audio MLI-65's that will be used in this install (wanted to check it out before I bought all four), the rest are gonna be purchased some time next week for my birthday.

Any updates to this?

I know in the Charger they have 6x9's so I wont see why the Magnum shouldnt be in the same ballpark. Call Best Buy or some car audio shops in your area and ask them.

He already checked his amp with another speaker so the sub has nothing to do with it. Sounds like an rca issue or grounding issue since you say it gets warm fairly quick, right?

Unless your doing the big 3 Yeah so it is a win, lose situation. Actually a win win situation for me till I get me a HO Alternator, till then I will only have the Big 2 done.

How To Get A 1 ohm and 2 ohm load
jcarter1885 replied to 4000watts's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I have it all in a notebook but its for everybody not just me, I got the wiring down now (been having that for years). I have been throwing a lot of things away that I have been putting to use and remember now. -
I love it as far as systems go, since I dont have to run a wire from the front of the car to the back.

I thought they sold out of the 4500Ds?, I would go with a 3500D but thats my .02. H/O alternator, big 3, 2 high performance batteries (Kinetik, Powermaster) x2, we told you this in another thread. -
Which Amp?
jcarter1885 replied to casedawg350's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
x2, Because I was going to go out and buy some clamp meters and so on, if that is the case then Impious you saved me some money then? -

very nice site thanks for the new bookmark. Yeah that is a very helpful site, one day when I was bored I printed out every wiring diagram so I can have it on me at all times in my car audio notebook. -
Agreed, couldnt of been said any better .

It seems like you have two different goals, you say you want SQ but you keep screaming you want loud. I dont see how two 18"s on 2600 (2300 watts actually) wont be loud, stop worrying about loud because it is subjective (you might get them and want louder or they may be louder then what you wanted). Worry about doing this right if you want some good SQ, size of sub does not really matter when it comes to hitting the lows (they all will hit the lows).

And they have a set sub sonic filter so if you build a ported enclosure you will have to do the tuning around the sub sonic filter and not what you want. I have used Kicker amps and install them in the past with no problems what so ever. Kicker makes great products period IMO.

You will mess it up by playing it under its recommended ohm load rating. It may work for a minute, day, month or cut off right away and wouldnt be a smart idea.
