    Subwoofer Box Venders

Trevor is in the middle of moving, and opening a new shop. BJ is your best bet for sure. BJ?????????? Funny thing is when I go to pound that sound website I don't seem to find an order cart. I will give them a few days to respond. Both sites seem to do great work too! Who is BJ? r, Freeway The dude who is part of Fisher Customs.

    Subwoofer Box Venders

That is a good point, people are traveling and spending time with family. I would at least give everybody a chance to respond by next week at the least to give them time to enjoy the holidays as you are.

    Sundown Amp Choice

It is where I got my Sundown Amps from and where I will get my third one from. I ordered a Mach 5 Audio MLI-65 midbass speaker from these guys also and have not had any problems with them period.

    Sundown Amp Choice

All the information that he gave you are the pros and cons of each amplifier, both will do the job.

    Sundown Amp Choice

x2, you can wire your dual 2 ohm subwoofer in parallel to a 1 ohm load: Go with the SAZ-1000D if money is not a concern.

    Rear View Mirror

Probably just might have to ride around rear view mirror less.
  13. Ok I was gonna still your idea but since it is not a major change Im not worried about it then (I'll just keep using the one I have on my Epic-160).
  14. I like the one for your amp, got a question for you: do they vary when bumping and if so by how much (im assuming one is connected to hu or battery and other one to amp)?

    Sundown SA-8 Pre-Sale

    Welcome to the IHoP

We are in the same boat, Id rather buy dvd's and spend my movie going money on a nice home theatre setup (that is my next step after car is taking care of). I just went and purchase those Dayton Bookshelf speakers off of Parts-Express.com , Im gonna get the little T Amp from them next week for my birthday.

    Big 3

First you need to find your alternator's rating, then go from there. Whatever its rating is then through a fuse on it that is like 5-10% more amps then the alternator and that is the fuse you need, I would just go get a regular ANL fuse holder that can hold a 1/0AWG wire and go from there. But you can try the one you have, I would just upgrade to another fuse holder (if it was me).

So my buddy wants a system but...

I'm concerned about buying an amp in "excellent condition" to find that it looks like someone opened it up, threw a hand grenade inside, then put the top back on. If your looking for cheap you cant complain about what you get, these guys are throwing great budget amps that fit in your range. Either save up more and get what you know or you just gotta use what you have and go on a limb if he doesnt want to raise up his budget.

throwing out some more blow through ideas

Make complete sentences and use the correct word and grammar so this can be read easier, we need way more information. Thanks You gotta make a compromise then come in here with what you want to do then go from there.
  20. really you think there blinding? i am using two of them and it's not to bad They're not that bad, but sure are bright! I do most of my driving at night and usually have to squint/block the led with my hand to see where the knob is. I'm about to have two of them as well, my sax 100.4d came in yesterday. I used a small piece of electrical tape on mine to either fully cover it up or let a little light show to know it is on and working.

Yeah the are wire gauge specific, what ever fits is what you use (not to sound like an ass). They are like amp terminals, just cause it has a 1/0 awg opening doesnt mean you have to put 1/0 awg wire in it.
  22. jcarter1885

    what should i do?

I ran three kicker cvx's 12" subwoofers at 1.3333ohms with no problem just make sure your amp is one ohm stable. I would get the dual 2 ohm version and wire them like this to get a 1.33333 ohm load: OR Get the dual 1 ohm version and wire them like this to get a 1.5 ohm load:

    Need help finding some 10s

Good idea, look at either the FI SSD 10''s or SSA Icon 10"s. When I looked on there website for the SSD it said it needs an enclosure smaller than what he had then read the technical page and see they had different numbers up there, otherwise I would of mentioned it earlier when I posted after doing my research.
  24. jcarter1885

    DODGE CALIBER

Your gain control is all the way up and your bass boost is up 3/4, that is a bad deal and will cause problems such as subs messing up and eventually your amp if your pushing it passed its limits.
