x2, and what tuning do you prefer. Please read new member guidelines before posting again and next time only open one topic when it is about the same thing as your previous topics.

It's actually pretty cheap. 7 pounds of body filler= 20 bucks a lot of resin = 35~ and mat is like 6 dollars here. Yeah the money is the last thing Im worried about, I will wait till it gets warmer so I will have more time and patience to deal with it (I hate doing shit when it is cold).

I think I am going to hold on to the 15 and put it into my explorer. I was thinking 2 12's myself originally, I always just get carried away though. This will be put in my Mazda 6, the largest box I can get to fit is 6 cubes. So I should have plenty of room for 2 12's. Which ones would you suggest. I have really switched over to listening to more Rock than rap now but I still like to throw on some rap and bam it. Is that 6 cubes beforer displacement? Did you calculate room for your amps, battery and air flow around the box? Any 12's that are sold on this site or FI Car Audio.

What kind of volt meter is that? That shit is fresh.

Do some research on your car online or call the dealership, look for a place that sells stock parts for your car and see what the size stock amps they offer.
-
I would personally stick with one 15" or 2-12"s. What car is this going in and the max dimensions you have available, that will tell you what we can and cant do. Why do you want to change your system?
-
That still doesnt tell me what alternator is in your car, how many amps is it?
-
This is your second post about the same thing and we told you in the other topic what you need to do. Give us your max dimensions that you have to work with (height x width x depth). We cant tell you dimensions if you we dont know what dimensions to work with

What size alternator is in your car?

They can take what is recommended that is why the company put the recommendations on the subwoofer (if you have to ask then stick with 1200 rms). They dont need all there rated power or double there rated power to perform well and give you the output they were intended for. If your not competing or anything then I would stick with 1200rms but maybe jump up to 1500rms if you just feel you need to. But your box, settings and install will determine how much these subs can truely take. If you know how to control your volume knob, set your gains right and can listen/smell or see signs of stress in your woofer then I would throw more power on them but if you dont have the experience then dont do it. If you get the SAZ-1500D then you dont have it turned all the way up and just because your throwing 1500 watts at it doesnt mean your sub will receive all those watts since music is dynamic. Just my .02 since you dont want to damage your equipment.

It means that they are waiting on your money to be processed, the sub to get built and then ready to ship (means a lot of things, whatever process they do before the sub is shipped is what awaiting fulfillment means).
-
It means you order is waiting to get fulfilled (the process or business of handling and executing customer orders, as packing, shipping, or processing checks) and once it is then it will be shipped and so on. There is processed, shipping and order completed/received (I cant remember if there are any more).

Help finding HO alternator for Taurus
jcarter1885 replied to d1unv's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Have you done the Big 3 wiring yet, that would help out also until you get an HO Alternator and/or secondary battery. -
If you did all that work, it wouldnt make any sense to cover that in carpeting. Just my .02

Human beings are known to be emotional, not just women. Damn...I'm not a girl but shit really is kinda getting down on just one gender. I'm too grown for a lot of bullshit, so I try to keep things to a minium. I don't call people dicks, I say as they come off... its just a matter of respect for all. , I know that (I said it is a womens trait to possess, not the only gender who does it). They live off of emotion and usually react off of emotion, which is not what a male is to do (males get emotional just like a female, its just not supposed to be our makeup or what makes us react). We are stronger and shouldnt let feelings be our downfall.

Everybody has been glassing lately, got me wanting to do some glassing of my own.

Plus there was never a time in any of my old topics or post where me and ///M5 didnt agree on a subject or felt differently on something, I didnt get upset (the feeling or emotion you possess to make you mad to say things that are uncalled for) and name call. We just had a nice debate and then called it a day, I took all the information he put in my face as wisdom regardless of how he dished it out. They are just words and if you cant take what someone says over the internet or real life then I feel sorry for you or anybody.
-
I could care less cause it is true, women are known to get emotional (it isnt a threat, an offense or anything). Make me stop saying the words I say, how are you gonna tell me what or what not to say especially if it is not towards you or even concerns you in anyway. Thanks for your insight though so lets get back on topic. Everybody who is on here gets tired or frustrated with most of the topics on here but people need to stop letting there emotions get the best of them and take the information that was giving from it instead of this so-called attitude or personality detector it supposedly gives off. Now that is and people need to kick rocks with that. We are all men (some women) and should act like, if you cant take a response or criticism then leave it to yourself to get upset but dont tell someone there acting a certain way (you dont even know ///M5 to make a judgement on the man). Maybe to you guys who get upset easily by words he comes off as a dick, to people like me who understand that this is a passion of some peoples and try to help them out. But then you get the people who think they know it all and want to do battle then when they are wrong, they still want to spill how wrong they are. Instead they should just accept it and move on with clarity were they were wrong at to get an understanding instead of continuing a fight that wont go anywhere. But your words were cute though. Sorry for getting off topic OP.

The dimensions are on the same website that you purchased your sub from, you should of measure your max dimension before you bought to 18"s to make sure they even fit

Eveyone makes a thread about this, just read the old ones and wait. Asking questions wont get your sub any quicker, if you dont understand what lead time is then you should of asked them before ordering your subwoofer.

That is not replacing the SAZ-50.4, that is a different line of amplifiers.

Best enclosure design for ssa xcon??
jcarter1885 replied to gadgeteer123's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I know that you can port in the same direction or if sub is firing up and port to the rear then your ok, but the sub and port in opposite directions is not a good idea. -
I still feel, you come off as just a sarcastic dick. Not saying you are one, but that is exactly whats coming off. I of all people know the importance of a good enclosure and install. I had my two 10" JL w1's and had friends with similar setups. Mine came correct, it was tuned right, the box was the right size, and the install was clean. Despite others having maybe better subs or a better amp, my shit hit... it hit pretty damn hard. I know the importance of good installs and enclosures, but I believe without quality product to go along to go with quality craftsmanship it is just not up to par when going against an alright sub with a nice enclosure. Well yeah that is true but not the same thing as what we are talking about, nobody said a bad quality product in a good enclosure will beat out a good quality product in a good enclosure. A bad quality product will do and sound good in a good enclosure, basically any subwoofer in a good enclosure has the tendacy to sound good. Yeah someone might come off as something but why get emotional and name call (thats a womens trait). These are just words over the internet, if they get to you or under your skin then the real world will eat you alive. Stop looking at how someone says something and take whatever advice or information that they type as what it relevant, the only way you can tell how he is coming off is if you were in his mind while he was typing it and knew how he meant it.

Engine Noise.
jcarter1885 replied to CrownVic's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
That is a good ground(the way you set it up, clean the paint off and everything) just probably not a good grounding location. Either start at headunit or relocate your ground in your trunk. Grounding amps in the same location wont have this problem unless it is a bad location, so dont worry about if your ground your amps at the same location or a different one. -
Battery change or big 3
jcarter1885 replied to deathcloud's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yeah my batteries sit anywhere from 12.5-12.3 with no accessories on when the car is off and it sits at 12.1-12.3 with accessories on while the car is off.
