  1. If this will be your system for now then get a good secondary battery and a volt meter to watch your voltage, wait on the HO Alternator till you need it or if your voltage is still bad.

Ok I got you, check out these speakers if you want some good midrange speakers. I was gonna get them before I got these horns but decided to go with some horns this route since I have had the 20+ plus speakers in a Saturn Ion, you talking about a nice advertisement vehicle while being in school. Since that is the trend in Florida, I did a good amount of installs because of my setup.

You cant compare the two speakers at all, the Mach 5 Audio is a midbass speaker and thats it. The O2 Audio speaker is a midrange speaker and that is it, they are made for two different goals in mind. Oxygen Audio USA Power Neodymium Mid-Ranges: OM-605ND-4, OM-605ND PRO, OM-6906ND, OM-509ND, OM-609ND-4, OM-809ND-4 I have the first one on the picture at top. They do make a midbass speaker though, it doesnt get as low as the Mach 5 Audio.

I am looking for someone to build a Enclosure

How does the inside of an enclosure get dirty, you gotta explain this one to me. I have never had a dirty enclosure before on the inside.
  9. This would help out with voltage at idle, because it helped me until you make those other electrical upgrades. I added a second 1/0 AWG wire or whatever size you ugraded it with from your battery negative to the car's frame. You dont have to do it but it would give you a more stable voltage but yeah your gonna have drops anyway just make sure they dont go to low thats all.

If your looking for loud, your gonna pay any where from 100 on up for a single midrange speaker trust me I been in the market looking at pro audio speakers for the last two years. Honestly your best bet is just to scrap the idea and get some Image Dynamic Horns, these will rip your head off and you only need a pair and they will be louder than how many ever speakers you plan on putting in your car. But if I do have some Eminence's and 1 O2 Audio speaker for (bought in Florida while at school for 150 for a single speaker, shits on an Eminence). Just to let you know that pro audio stuff gets expensive.

    Probably a dumb question

If you burned one coil, I would check into to see what I did wrong to burn a coil or otherwise you will burn that second coil also.

If your looking at them you minus well stick with Eminence or step your game up and look at some Oxygen O2 Audio (I have one that makes an Eminence its bitch), Beyma, or B&C Speakers but I prefer Oxygen Audio since their build quality is the best out of all of them. Where are you located?

    Sundown SA-12

x2 go for it and call it a day, lows will be determined by box size and tuning if going ported. The subs will hit the lows with no problem.

kicker 750.1 at 1 ohms or cadence at 1 ohms

how do you feel about cadence are they even worth it . yea im not inerested in blowing my 750.1 ,. i just thought since ive seen it more than once . if i run the kicker at 4 ohms its 375 rms. if run the cadence at 1 ohm its 600 rms , which would sound better or loader. because ive had cheap amps that said they was 10000000000(lol) watts but couldnt push a jlw0.And im not sure if this is a cheap amp thats my thing is ,is these amps even worth mess with. i can hook the 2 amps together but it 375 at 4 ohms . i can guess that the cadence at 1 its 600 rms is my best bet . and can also run a amp to each sub at 2 ohm and it 375 rms. my subs are alpine type r dual 4s. IF i was to trade these fir another sub what would you suggest . thanks for any help ive been out the game for about three years im tring to get my car audio brain back Get a Sundown Audio SA-12 D2 ohm subwoofer, it does 600 rms and would be a perfect match for that amp. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/SA-12s-Back-In-Stock-t34008.html The real question is what is your budget for subwoofers if you want to upgrade?

    12's or 10's

While this is true about more cone area it doesnt always mean 2-12"s will be louder than 1-15", it really depends on a lot of factors.

    Stock electrical

There are some people out there doing it but that is not the correct way. You need to add more information, read new member guideline. Do you mean stock alternator, stock battery and thats it? or what? After I posted, I realized that my post was completely vague. The example I had in mind was a buddy running a Kicker zx2500.1 on stock alternator with an Optima Red top.I've always been told that putting too much strain on your stock electrical system would be detrimental over time. Has anyone actually seen something other than dimming headlights? I know that extra batteries can only get you so far, but I'm trying to get an idea of how far I can go without an alternator upgrade. Until your car cuts off, I would suggest you do the Big 3 Wiring in 1/0 AWG (if you dont know what it is search for it, its on this forum) and about 2 - Group 31 Batteries for starters with a voltmeter to watch your voltage. If you dont want to get an HO Alternator but one will be needed eventually. Also get a battery charger so you can charge your batteries every couple of days so your alternator wont have to do it all the time.

I usually get mad because it is something I want to watch but the questions and information on this forum is overflowing to where I have to pay attention to this site.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Kinda curious as to why you wouldnt run them in a 2-way setup. They fall apart in the mids. Fine for many, but I like transparent voicing in the midrange and that wouldn't be their strength. Super hard to match them with a tweet that is worth a shit without going large format too. Sure the Seas is fine, the Scan-speak stellar, but I'd make my compromises elsewhere setting up a 2 way. Midbass though they are machines at. I love a great midrange and dont want to lose that. I have been thinking of running them with some horns and try to tame them as much as possible. Do you think the AA 7" Carbon Fiber Mids would be good in a 2-way system with a tweet or would it be along the same lines (the make-up of the AA makes it look possible)?
