No sub needs more than its rms to perform well and give you the output it was intended for.

people on here live by sundown. I dont live by them just prefer them in my install, but Im not bias on them when it comes to others install (it is your money, get what you want).

Hey I pm'd you, I have some already made out of polyurethane plastic that will fit the mli-6.5's that I will sell to you. I wouldnt put wood in my front door due to water getting in there and the wood will get moisture and that wouldnt be good that is why I got mine made of plastic.

Congrats on your sub purchase. -
yeah that is how I am when I notice someone is coming from a death trap area or an area of not to much visibility to the road there turning on, caution is the key when driving nowadays since others dont use it.

Kappa speakers shorting out on door
jcarter1885 replied to waltham415's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I wouldnt waste time to run them from the stock to head unit unless it some old wire or something, if it doesnt seem damage or faulty then I wouldnt. But that depends if you dont mind, have the speaker wire and so on. Maybe bigger and better wire may help with the sound but probably not by much. -
No your pops didnt say that, so he got jokes. what? lol I cant believe your dad said that, sounds to me as if he has some jokes. It is just funny that he said something like that, some dads would be like why are you showing me this. Sounds like you have a cool, down to earth dad.

Yeah I hate bad drivers or people who are just to impatient to wait, especially the ones who jump in front of you turning from a side street or shopping plaza when there is nobody behind you.

AQ220d vs. SAZ-2000d

Like me When I said I cant speak on there products I was talking about Audioque's, guess I should of clarified that one. I use Sundown, only one amp from my signature for now that is installed. -
My bad i just meant one battery?Hey jaycee i got a question my battery is in my trunk so to do the big 3 could i get all the wires and fuses, fuse holders ect,for around 150 dollars? It depends but you should be able too. I was in the same situation you were in last summer considering my battery is in my trunk. I didnt do the Big 3, basically I did the Big 2 for now on until I get a HO Alternator. I only did the engine block to chassis in 1/0 AWG with one wire and the Battery Negative to chassis in 1/0 AWG with two wires to keep my voltage steady. My Battery Positive to Alternator Positive came from the factory with 105Amps so Im fine for now, maybe I will do the last wire in the future but not worried about it now. I got my wire for less than 30 buck, 1/0 terminals for 15 bucks and that was just those two wires.

I waited for my Sundown when I bought on presale in May, received it in July and still havent installed it. ( I need bass). I cant speak on products since I dont use them but I havent heard of them having problems and some members on here run them with great performance flawlessly. -
Yeah do the Big 3 and both those batteries you wont need, you should only need one extra battery. The best way to tell is do the Big 3, install a volt meter and secondary battery. Watch your voltage and go from there if you need any other electrical upgrades.

I just made a topic about this, I can turn off the negative votes. do EET! Yeah I know who the two members are who are doing it two thats the sad part, the dick heads even went to my for sale topic and marked two negative's there. I dont understand how man can act like ex girlfriends, stalk you around the fourm and try to badmouth you through rankings. Just keep the rankings and the members abusing it will get deal with.

Any sub on 2000 watts will get loud, what you need to do is give us goals and any other information so we can help you make a better decision on what will be good for your application. I think they recommend ported for there subs, if you want any information on them go to audioque.com and do some research. You can also talk to DJ as he answers all the calls and will answer all your questions you have about his products.

About time, so lets see if these members actually follow the rules this time but I doubt it since they cant even follow the rules that were given to them when they joined this forum. Keep up the good work SSA. Sig also.

x2, it is a decision that you have to make. I dont buy used but I would take Sundown all day over Audioque but both amps will be perfect for your application. You wont hear the difference between the two at all. -
You guys are getting closer and closer, looking good .
-
Yeah congrats, I see some of you guys have some real interesting jobs. I do local installs in the area for now, looking for a job but not really. I decided just to go back to school and get my Master's Degree, why not when they will pay for education and training right now for almost any job. Good luck to all unemployed on landing jobs and the ones not certain about there current 9-5 jobs.

x2, you can hook it up to either set of +,- speaker terminals on the amp and it will work.
