    volt meters

Also remember to read the instructions (not saying you dont) but these have a feature on them where they need to be matched with your electrical or it wont read the right voltage out. You will have to take the top off and make an adjustment to something on the inside of the unit itself, just a heads up

    volt meters

Stinger SVMR (the red volt meter) Stinger SVMB (the blue volt meter) Type this in your search bar or on ebay and they should pop up.

i need a box built for my xcon

You can expect the same craftsmanship as the rest of the boxes they have posted under this thread, every topic should have a boxed built in it which is showing there skill level.

    Sae 1200 on stock alternator?

Well since you want a temporary fix I would buy a voltmeter and secondary battery and monitor your voltage, that is the only way to tell if your electrical can work well with the SAE-1200v2 but it should be enough.
  7. The question is which one of them has all or most of the features that your looking for head unit, you should choose this one on your own since it will be in your car and your equipment. Both are good brands, if still at a stand still then flip a coin to make a decision.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Lets go Jets, play another 30 minutes of good football and you can win this.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I want the Vikings to win but I do believe Drew Brees deserves it for the way he has been playing for the last few years.

5 cft gross volume for 1 18" btl?

x2, I would either build a bigger box for that 18" if you would like or sell both 18" and get you some 15"s but two 18"s in that trunk wouldnt be better than what you have now.

    Warm magnet?

Well for future reference just becuase an amp doesnt shut off does not mean it has not been driven hard under current conditions, some shut off quicker than others while some shut off and never turn back on. You will never know unless you test it, whether or not you were driving it hard. Hopefully it was just heat dissipating and that was it, but be careful (those are my words of advise).

    Welcome to the IHoP

Haha, besides that they arent fun to put in if you dont know what you are doing so be careful and watch your face.

    bigrank916 MLI-65 project

It is probably just something small, that is one thing I hate about installs sometimes (they tend to never go flawlessly, there is always a small troubleshooting step you must do). Good luck with finding what the issue is.

    Warm magnet?

Well that is usually the cause of people failing a subwoofer, not being able to wait and just want to hear it. Ive had my amp since July and havent installed it yet, subwoofer since November (yes Im dying to hear it but wont efff it up cause I cant be patient). You will not die if you dont hear your sub, be careful of how you play it (just because you have your gain halfway does not mean that is a good setting unless you tested).

    sonic electronix?

I never had a problem purchasing car audio products from them, good company if you ask me.

I am looking for someone to build a Enclosure

PM'ing a lot of the company's may not be a good thing since they are barely on here and are busy with other things then responding to pm's. That is why I said your best bet is to email or call these guys if you really want to get in touch with them.

I am looking for someone to build a Enclosure

Your best bet is to decide on which company you want to build your box for you and then proceed to email, call or make a topic under there thread on this forum. I doubt they are on here enough to look at every question about boxes, this will get you started on getting your box built faster.

  22. Im curious as to if there is that big of a difference myself, I heard that Shuriken's are rebadged Kinetiks just at a lower cost. A friend of mine who owns a shop in Chicago said he stopped selling Kinetiks to sell the Shuriken's and they perform good. I was thinking about purchasing a Shuriken to test out but would like to know if others have dealt with one yet also.

few questions for a daily beater

x2, go for 2-12"s or a 15" ported (I dont think your trunk is big enough for 2-15" ported but if so that would be your best bet). Like posted earlier max dimensions of the area we have to work with will help out.

    jay-cee's Build Log

Naw I definitely havent, but headed to Home Depot (to get my t-nuts and bolts so I can mount my subwoofer on the box) right now. Im putting off building the box right now and decided to make sure I get some things done to the car first before I jump into it, but it wont be too much longer.
