True just dont want to go to far, good xspower under hood another in trunk if needed. You will be fine with just one XS Power battery (contact Nathan at XS Power for what battery you will need), make sure you get a volt meter and do the Big 3 (just monitor your voltage from there).

Taking your rear speakers out sounds like your best bet and porting through the rear deck can help out as well.

I have one quick question for you fellas, what is the best solution for a sealant (I know most will say silicone since that is its main use)? Would Titebond Wood Glue II or Liquid Nails suffice (is it a lesser grade alternative or higher grade alternative compared to silicone)? Thanks just curious as to what I should use.

Why is the D3400 so much, shouldnt it be cheaper than that (just curious since I would rather buy it from you guys).

Went to Home Depot this morning (mid 20's outside) and got me some wood cut, they didnt charge me for the cuts (which would of been $2.50 extra but oh well). Nothing special just a few pictures, I want to put the enclosure together but dont want to deal with the cold weather. Cut Wood & extra pieces: Distribution Blocks: Car Audio Accessories Briefcase:

Looks nice, keep up the good work. -
You need to find a local place where it's only mexican guys. They will have one dude who speaks ~some~ english and the rest just work on cars. You can bring in your own online ordered parts and they will charge about 100 bucks for anything. Here in the twin cities there are no better places to take your car. They know more practical knowledge about tune ups and basic repair than ever other tech who works in a chain shop combined. I wouldn't ask them to tune up an Enzo, but if my Ford pickup/SUV needs some love they will have that shiz done in 15 min and they might throw in a new transmission and some beans and rice on the way out for under 100 bucks. , that is who services on my car here in the Texas area since they do a great job and good prices.

Welcome and glad you could join us my fellow Texan .

Amp Wiring Issue
jcarter1885 replied to Third Eye Vision's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Give or take some, usually it halves when you go up in impedence (but then again that depends if amp is even putting out rated power). -
Buffalo Wild Wings (Sports Bar) Maybe BW^2? Used to be called BW3 because the offically name was Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck hench BW3....A weck is a roll with some kind of seeds in it not to sure.... hmmm didn't know that. Good to know x2, I been pondering on this one for that past 4 or 5 years now just thought it wasnt meant for me to get it.

Optima yellow top
jcarter1885 replied to rodneydude23's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yeah the group 34 is like a regular starting battery size, I would go with a YellowTop group 31 for the power you want or contact Nathan at XS Power and he will get you a battery that will do for around the same price. -
X2 x3, low to mid 30's here at least it stopped raining wish the wind would stop also.

Optima yellow top
jcarter1885 replied to rodneydude23's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
That doesnt help out one bit since Optima Yellow Tops are made for dual purposes such as car audio, they come in different sizes. Next time you need information on something it would be wise to know what your asking questions about (such as model number or something). -
Good business ethics and morals are what Im after when looking to make purchases, so keeps this up and you will always have business when it comes to batteries for any of my cars.

The same thing I was thinking just guessed since it was one of there newer models SSA just didnt have a chance to update there site. Ok I checked your battery group and it is a group 75 battery, which is kind of in between on size with a couple of our batteries. You should be able to use the S3400, but please take a look at and see. The group 75 battery is 9.06 L x 7.06 W x 7.31 H. The 3400 is 10.24 L x 6.75 W x 7.20 H. So the 3400 is just over a inch longer than your OEM battery. If you have an extra 1/2 inch on both sides it should work, and that would be a awesome battery to use. If you are using the side terminals I would suggest the IBAR Kit 551 or 555. As for the AH rating. AH ratings are low amperage out puts for extended periods of time. For instance a 100AH battery can put out 5 amps for 20 hours. I dont know of a car audio enthusiast that only has a 5 amp draw from their system and runs it for 20 hours, so really in the car audio world AH, CA, and CCA ratings really do not mean anything. Car audio needs instantaneous power at high rates like MAX AMPS (instant burst of energy). Yeah I have up to 11" in my stock location so I will I be fine with the D3400 if that is all that I need, is there any difference between this battery and the D2400 (both seem to be fairly the same but the D2400 can handle a little more since it is the only one SSA is selling at the moment).

This is a dry topic that is why no one is responding, we need more information to help us help you. If your asking which one is better that is hard to say, all installs are different the only way to tell is to buy both setups and test your self. You will have to make a compromise on this one and make a decision or flip a coin if it comes down between these two choices.

Yes Nathan is very helpful over emails and on the forum, keep up the good work and excellent products.

Thats what I was thinking of when I first read this but he wants one box and two different subs (each sub playing a ported to a different frequency. Basically like a dual ported enclosure but with a divided chamber, one side tuned to 26Hz and the other side tuned to 34hz if Im reading it right.

Not a problem at all your cool. My threads are for everyone to learn.
