So the old lady stops her car and walks up to your car thats doing 70mph and knocks on the window? Cool story bro. -
Well put one set of speakers in the front door and one set in the rear doors and call it a day. Otherwise your gonna have to do fiberglass work to your door and more than likely have to upholster it as well to get both component sets or mids to fit.
-
Nope I havent used there coaxials but use there mids in some active setups I have had and loved them. Talk to sefugi (member here on forum), he used them in his sons build: Sefugi Build Log

Do some research on the subwoofers, you will find out the N3 is not made for music at all. Really inteneded for burps, look at the high Fs. The N2 is the same as the previous generation BTL's but with some adjustments.

Thats like a personal decision to me, we cant tell you how to spend your money. But considering your not looking to a pay a grip for the tweeters and you want them to match the speakers then why not. -
congrats man, keep up the hard work.

Group Buy on a Zed Built Boss Audio REV-665
jcarter1885 replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in SSA® Store
I will using the amp to power two sets of components (6.5" eclipse and mb quarts/ front/rear respectively). Signal will be coming from Alpine PXA-H100 which sets crossovers etc for all channels. Would I set this to flat on the amplifier for the best result? Thanks, Jay If your gonna let something else control the processing and crossovers then set the amp on flat, yes your correct. -
Love the new one and the Pearl Paint is killer

Specs available yet or we still have to wait a while for them? Dont tease us Jacob

Group Buy on a Zed Built Boss Audio REV-665

I would usually have it on High Pass, maybe Flat but that depends on your knowledge and use of the volume knob. I think you may be wanting to much midbass, then what your actually gonna get from a 6.5" especially with rated power. It can be done but some tuning will need to be done as well, what are your settings on your headunit? What frequency do you have your amp at? Try setting your amp at flat and let use your head units eq to set it on high pass so you can know exactly what its crossed at if you cant figure it out on the amps dials. -

It wont matter the extra connections are there to help with multiple subwoofer configurations or different wiring options. If you wire two subwoofers (each sub 4 ohms), one wired to each set of terminals and the amp will step it down to 2 ohms itself. So it wont matter what terminals you use, but the manual shows to use the outer set of terminals when hooking up one woofer. Take a gander: Sundown Amp Manual -

Im guessing you went with the 15" Xcon? Cant wait for the pictures bro.

Fixed, typing to fast.

Cool story bro

Yes there will be a differene, how much of a difference will be hard to tell. Usually with a smaller box you lose efficiency (sub will need more power to perform) and you may sacrifice some low end and gain some more overall output. This is usually the difference between bigger and smaller boxes. The question is why do you want to go to a smaller box, this will determine if it will be justifiable. Is it worth it I doubt it but more information will on why you want to change box sizes will help us answer this question better. A change in box size from 1.5-1.35 wont yield that much of a difference but 1.5-1.0 will.
