jcarter1885 replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
Nope as the first estimate was delayed already, when the buildhouse gets control of the steel it will use then the Xcons will be up for sale again. Hopefully very soon -

Looking for New Active Head Unit
jcarter1885 replied to Sir-Lancelot's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Sorry to hear about your clarion man, I went through the same problems with mine last year. They just arent made like they used to be, just buy a cheapo hu and an ms-8 or some outboard processor so you wont have this problem again. Hopefully the Zcons are damaging the radio, full of win if so. As said before search around for some 800's or 880's they are still floating around. -
More info would be nice, but glad your happy.

Glad its coming back together and ready for the updates once body work is complete.

Had to download Another Night by Mac Miller, song on repeat right now.
-
I like his style and he got a flow to him, that was my first time listening to Mac Miller and I was impressed. Im an avid music person and critique hard on them but I must admit I vibe the kid. Definitely not a Wiz Khalifa clone, I fucks with Wiz. They talk about two different concepts but share two things being from Pittsburgh and smoking that good. But thats my opinion, it only equals up to .02

Acutually thats not the case unless your systems goals are designed around a ported enclosure then yes your correct. Zcon subs are meant to be played in ported enclosures only, so in this case you would go with a ported enclosure.

rockford vs crescendo audio
jcarter1885 replied to irvin productionz's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yeah they were going throuhg a legal issue with getting there pro audio speakers, some time last year. Right now the sub amps are just being released. The components and 4 channel amp are being redesigned and being released sometime this summer if no delays are in the way. -
Cant wait to do some shopping on the new site

The answer is 2 but you can also get 288, in Algebra the answer would of been 2 since you do parenthesis first and it was written write.

All I have to say is I love my country but I dont trust my government, no need to go further into detail. There is more to this story and any other story that involves the government then anybody will ever know.

Very much so. I believe they say the Havoc has a little better low end. Not the same really, just built by the same person. One company is dealer only (AA) and the other is open to the public to allow customers to customize their own woofers (Fi). If you want a custome driver to your liking then go with a Fi and if you want a dealer based driver then go with AA. Its a toss up between both drivers but each fit your goals well, just flip a coin if your stuck between the two. Look under either Fi or AA's section on here and you will find a couple threads like these that will give your more information between the two drivers, they have been brought up in a comparison/contrast a few times before.

SSA T-Shirt Designs - look inside!

I like this. Business in front, party in the back. x3, bigger image on back and ssa on chest area. -
I wouldnt mind a pair in my car to go with the SAX-125.2

Use chan. 1&2 for the components, @ 2ohm you'll get 160 watts per chan. then bridge chan. 3&4 @ 4ohm to get 320 watts for the sub. I don't think it's needed to bridge channels for more power for the components, and if that is what you want to do I would not get 2 ohm components. what he said if you go the 2 ohm component route.

Gain at halfway doesnt mean your at 600-700 watts, the gain is there to match the input signal of your headunit. For example if your head unit is a 4 volt preout you want it between 20-45% roughly but that is all dependent on how high your gain setting is on the amplifier. Turn your gain down some, what size enclosure and tuning is the enclosure?
